Hindi raw makikipag-cooperate ang Pilipinas sa pormal na imbestigasyon ng International Criminal Court hinggil sa ‘war on drugs’ ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, ayon kay presidential legal spokesperson Salvador Panelo.


Iginiit ni Panelo na walang hurisdiksyon ang International Criminal Court sa Pilipinas kaya hindi papayagang pumasok sa bansa ang ICC investigators.


“The Rome Statute was never enforced in this country. How can you acquire jurisdiction?Anong gagawin mo? Paano mo pipigilan? Ever since nag-withdraw na tayo. Pumapasok pa sila. Hayaan mo sila”, ani Panelo.
