P5-K cash sa mga estudyante, aprub

Ipinag-utos sa Taguig Scholarship Office at Barangay Affairs Office na ipamahagi ang P5,000 Special Emergency Assistance to Scholars (SEAS) simula Abril 20, upang matulungan ang mga estudyante at ang kanilang pamilya sa gitna ng ipinatutupad na enhanced community quarantine dahil sa COVID-19.

Ang SEAS ang magko-cover ng halos 25,000 scholars na nasa ilalim ng City Scholarship Programs katulad ng Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-need Scholarship Program, Taguig City University Educational Assistance Allowance at Taguig Learners Certificate Scholarship Program.

Ayon kay Mayor Lino Cayetano, ang nabanggit na cash assistance ay bukod pa sa tulong para sa mga nagmamaneho ng mga pampublikong sasakyan, food packs at ang anti-COVID kits.
