Flame handover ceremony ng SEAG sa ‘Pinas sisimulan na

Itatakda sa Bukit Jalil National Stadium sa Kuala, Lumpur ang pagsisindi ng sulo, urno at Philippine Lantern bilang senyales ng pagbubukas ng 30th Southeast Asian Games sa Nob. 30 sa Philippine Arena sa Bulacan.

Inorganisa ng Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) ang seremonya at ng cultural events department bilang bahagi pagtatampok ng simbolismo ng SEA Games - ang pagsisindi ng sulo.

Pormal na tatanggapin ng mga opisyal ng Team Philippines na pinamumunuan Chef de mission Chairman Butch Ramirez, PHISGOC chairman Speaker Allan Peter Cayetano at Philippine Olympic Committee president Rep. Bambol Tolentino ang hosting role mula sa mga kinatawan ng Malaysian Olympic Committee.

Bukod kay Ramirez, chairman of the Philippine Sports Commission, naroon din sina Commissioners at Assistant CDMs Celia Kiram at Arnold Agustin. Kasama ni Tolentino sina POC Chair Steven Hontiveros and secretary-general Atty. Ed Gastanes. “The flame handover is an important symbolic ceremony showing the turnover of responsibilities from past host to present,” ayon kay Phisgoc ceremonies director Mike Aguilar.

Idaraos din ang torch run sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa kabilang na sa Davao, Cebu, Clark at sa Senado, Congress at Malacañang sa Manila.
