PINATAWAN ang WikiLeaks founder na si Julian Assange ng 50 linggong pagkakakulong dahil sa hindi pagbabayad ng multa, pitong taon na ang nakalilipas.

Nabatid na nagtago si Assange sa Ecuadorian Embassy sa United Kingdom.

Ang pananatili ni Assange sa embahada sa loob ng pitong taon ay nagdulot ng delay sa pagbibigay-hustisya sa kanyang kaso.

Gayunman, sumigaw ang mga tagasuporta ni Assange ng “shame on you” habang binabasa ng judge ang sentensiya sa Southwark Crown Court.
