PATI ang aktor na si Ji Chang Wook ay nadamay na rin sa iskandalo ni Seungri tungkol sa prosti­tusyon.

Sa investigative program ng SBS na Unanswered Question/The Its Know aired last March 23 ay tinalakay ang tungkol sa controversy ng Burning Sun, ang club kung saan nagsimula ang iskandalo ni Seungri hanggang sa lu­maki na nang lumaki.

Ini-reveal ng programa ang identity ng Taiwanese businesswoman na tinatawag nilang Madam Lin na diumano’y isa sa mga investors ng Burning Sun and allegedly owns 20% of the club’s share.

Habang ipinapakita ang mga lara­wan ni Madam Lin, namataan ditong kasama niya si Ji Chang Wook. May mga pictures din siyang kasama si Seungri and with other celebrities as well.

Ikina-shocked siyempre ng lahat ang naturang larawan ni Madam Lin with Ji Chang Wook at dito na nagsimula ang espekulasyong baka may kinalaman din ang aktor sa napakalaking iskandalong ito sa entertainment scene ng South Korea.

Kinabukasan din, matapos ang airing ng naturang investigative program, nag-release agad ng statement ang SBS pati na ang management ni Ji Chang Wook (who is currently in military service) para bigyan ng linaw ang mga espekulasyon.

Pahayag ng isang source mula sa Unanswered Question or The Its Know, “We used photos of Madam Lin with celebrities to explain that she was acquainted with Korean celebrities. We were not suggesting that Ji Chang Wook was tied to the Burning Sun Gate.”

Ipinaliwanag din ng programa na ang pagkakamali nila ay hindi nila na-blurred ang mukha ni Ji Chang Wook sa mga ipinakitang larawan.

“The reason Ji Chang Wook’s face was not blurred out on yesterday’s (March 23) broadcast was because it was used as a device to explain who Madam Lin was. This was not to say he is connected to Burning Sun.

“In fact, we used pictures including public figures to show Madam Lin’s connections and friendships with people in the entertainment industry, and reflected this on the show. A picture of Ronaldo was also included on the broadcast, not just Ji Chang Wook. Both of the pictures were used for context. It was not intended for the pictures to show their connection to the Burning Sun scandal.

“However, in the photographs of Ronaldo with Madam Lin, their faces were blurred out. In the case of Ji Chang Wook, it was not blurred out, which was a mistake from the production team. Since the picture including Ronaldo already mentioned his name as a caption, we did not have to blur his face out, but it was blurred by mistake.

“It was not our intention to reveal Ji Chang Wook’s face. To explain again, we did not intend to use the photo to reveal Ji Chang Wook was connected with the Burning Sun scandal. We used it to explain how Madam Lin was close to members of the Korean en­ter­tainment industry,” ang pahayag pa ng prog­rama.

Narito naman ang official statement ng Glorious Entertainment na agency ni Ji Chang Wook:

“Hello, this is Glorious Entertainment. Our company’s actor [Ji Chang Wook] has no relation to the individual in the photo that was shown in the broad­cast. As a fan, she requested [for a photo together], and he agreed to it.

“This situation is leading to the spread of false rumors, malicious rumors, and sexual harassment towards the company’s actor, causing serious damage to the actor’s reputation.

“This is causing harm and pain to the actor, as well as his family and fans who are watching the situation.

“We ask you to refrain from writing, posting, and spreading speculative rumors about the matter at hand.

“By utilizing the reports we received [about false rumors] and personally monitoring [the internet], we will do our best to protect our actor.

“Lastly, we thank the actor’s fans for always cheering for him and steadily sending him love.”

Si Ji Chang Wook ay nakatak­da nang ma-discharge from military service ngayong Abril 28. Siya ang pabo­ritong Korean actor ni Jinkee Pac­quiao, asawa ng ating boxing champ na si Sen. Manny Pacquiao.

Siyempre, nalungkot ang mga fans ni Ji Chang Wook na na-drag pa ang name ng kanilang idolo gayung malapit na itong lumabas. But at the same time, ikinatuwa na rin nila na nalinaw agad ito.

Sa totoo lang, napakaraming nadamay na pangalan sa iskandalo ni Seungri. But what’s amazing, sa dami ng pangalang nasangkot, ang mismong mga kamiyembro niya sa Big Bang ay hindi damay gayung sila ang parating magkakasama.

At base na rin sa mga lumalabas na artikulo at sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon, mukhang wala talagang alam ang mga kagrupo sa pinagga­gawa ng youngest member nila.
