KINUMPIRMA na ni Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray na hiwalay na siya sa kanyang boyfriend for 6 yrs. na si Clint Bondad sa kanyang interview noong Biyernes (February 22) sa late-night talk show na Tonight with Boy Abunda.

Ikinuwento rin ni Catriona na bago pa man ginanap ang Miss Universe 2018 pageant sa Thailand noong December 2018 ay nagkakaroon na sila ng problema ng BF.

Aniya, “‘Coz actually we were having some problems even before the pageant.

“But, me, I’m a very private person kasi, eh, and even before we left for Thailand, we were not on speaking terms so much.”

Ayon kay Catriona, naka­dag­dag-hirap sa pagsabak niya sa Miss Universe pageant ang problemang pinagdaanan nila ni Clint sa kanilang relasyon.

Kuwento ni Catriona, “It was really hard going through the competition with that happening all at the same time, but I had to keep reminding myself this is the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

“I need to give my best, why am I here, and I wanna represent the Philippines well, so it was a struggle. But I see that he’s doing so well now.”

Sinagot din ni Catriona ang dahilan kung bakit sila naghiwalay.

Aniya, “It’s when you’re together for so long and you start off from a very young age. You grow — whether that be in your personal, or in your career, or whatever — sometimes you just kind of… you outgrow each other, in a way.”

Paiwas naman ang naging sagot ni Cat­riona nang tanungin siya ni Boy Abunda kung mahal pa niya ang ex-BF.

Aniya, “I’m always grateful to him for the time I shared with him, ‘coz he has seen me through so much, I’ve seen him through so much. We both supported each other. It just didn’t work.

“And I don’t wanna talk about it that much... One, I’m private; and two, I greatly respect him and I’m grateful for the time that I had with him.

“I just wish him the best.”

Ngayon, gusto munang enjoy-in ni Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray ang pagi­ging single dahil 18 years old pa lang siya ay in a relationship na.

Aniya, “I think it’s really important as an individual because you need to know what you want, who you are to be establishing your identity, as your own person, and I just wanna take that time.

“I mean being a Miss Universe for a year is an amazing experience.

“I just wanna be able to grow in that kind of season as Miss Universe.”

Gayunman, hindi pa rin isinasara ni Catriona ang pinto sa muling pagkakabali­kan nila ni Clint sa future.

“If we were meant to be together, maybe it’ll happen in the future,” pahayag ni Catriona.
