Di na nakatiis, nagpakatotoo na sa mga fans...SHANNON, IBINULGAR ANG PANG-AABUSO SA KANYA NG TALENT

NAGDESISYON na ang British-South Korean singer na si Shannon na iwanan na ang agency niyang MBK Entertainment at bumalik na lang sa London. Ini-reveal niya ito sa Question and Answer with the fans sa kanyang Instagram story last Jan. 24.

Tinanong siya ng isang fan kung may plano siyang umalis ng Korea at sinagot niya ito.

“Unfortunately, I actually do. I love Korea but I feel like I want to be able to be more creative and write songs that I can really connect to and just be more carefree since I know you guys are going to be there with me every step of the way which I am very thankful for,” ang bahagi ng sagot ni Shannon.

Kasunod nito ay ini-reveal nga niyang iiwanan na niya ang kanyang agency very soon.

“No, I am not having a comeback. I am leaving my company very, very soon,” dagdag ni Shannon.

Earlier this month ay nagpahaging na rin naman ang singer tungkol sa kanyang plano dahil nag-tweet siya ng “Not long until I’m free from the dungeon.”

That time, hindi ma-gets ng mga fans ang ibig niyang sabihin, pero sa Q&A sa IG story, someone asked, “Is living in the dungeon scary?” at dito niya ini-reveal ang mga dinaranas niya na ikina-shocked ng kanyang mga supporters.

Apparently, ang “dungeon” na tinutukoy ni Shannon ay ang kanyang agency.

“Girl you get used to it until you don’t get paid at all. And they use your voice and tell you it’s a guide for another group’s song without your permission. And don’t credit you for writing their English lyrics for them. And give the work that came in specifically for you to another artist. And never let you go overseas just “because.” And basically force you to go out on shows you don’t want to go on just so the other group in your label can get a promo or deal.

“That’s when all hell breaks loose.

“Stand up for yourself. Work hard for yourself. Respect yourself. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. I’m glad I’m done,” ang mahabang saad ni Shannon.

May nagtanong din kung babalik na ba siya sa London where she was born and raised (Weish ang father niya at Korean naman ang nanay niya) at sagot niya, “I’m going back very soon actually.”

Isang fan naman ang nag-comment ng “I’m sad to know that you won’t have a comeback in Korea” at sinagot naman niya ng “I know. I’m sorry. You can blame my company for that matter. I promise to come out with something soon.”
