Kinumpirma ni Chavit… MISS U 2019, WALA NANG SWIMSUIT COMPETITION!

KINUMPIRMA na ni former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson na siya na ang may hawak ng franchise ng Miss Universe Philippines na dating hawak ng Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) simula noong 1964.

Ayon kay Chavit, sa January o February pa raw ito ia-announce kapag nakabalik na si Miss Universe Catriona Gray sa Pilipinas.

Aniya, “True, the franchise is already with me, but it has not yet been announced. I think it shall be formally announced this January or February, when Catriona comes back again to the Philippines.”

Ayon din sa dating gobernador ng Ilocos Sur, ang tawag na Binibining Pilipinas ay mapapalitan na ng Miss Universe Philippines.

“Binibining Pilipinas Universe will be replaced with ‘Miss Universe Philippines.’ Noon pa ibinibigay sa akin ‘yan, because I’ve been helping them since 2016,” pahayag ni Chavit.

Noong 2016 pa raw nagsimula ang deal nila ng Miss Universe Organization nang ang Pilipinas ang naging host country ng beauty pageant.

Para makuha ang tiwala ng Miss Universe Organization ay nag-non-refundable deposit daw siya ng $1 million o higit kumulang P50 million.

“Instead of talking to many companies before, they just talked to me and I then gave them a non-refundable deposit of $1 million. Who would disagree to that, non-refundable? I gained their trust. Before the signing in 2016, they even first asked me to pay $12 million,” pahayag ni Chavit.

Nang tanungin naman si Chavit kung ginagaya raw ba niya ang US president na si Donald Trump dahil ito ang may-ari ng nabanggit na pageant, pabiro nitong sinagot na mas magaganda ang kanyang mga girlfriends.

Kinumpirma rin ni Chavit na tumutulong na siya para sa Miss Universe 2019 na gaganapin sa South Korea.

Aniya, “Before, it was held in Jeju island because it doesn’t require visas for foreign tourists. The 2019 Miss Universe will be unique because for the first time in history, North Korea will participate but no swimsuit portion for their candidate, only the national costume.”

Sa kabila nito, wala pa ring formal announcement na nanggagaling sa kampo ng Miss Universe Organization.
