Kinumpirma ng sister ni Mico Palanca ang pag­kamatay ng aktor sa pamamagitan ng Insta­gram Story kung saan ipinost ni Erika ang photo nilang magka­patid.

Inilagay na caption ni Erika ang official statement ng kanilang pamilya hinggil sa pangyayari.

“We are extremely saddened and heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Mico Palanca. The whole family is grateful for the incredible outpour of love and support that has been coming in today. As of now, we would like to respectfully request for privacy as we go through this very difficult time. Again, we appreciate all the love and support-thank you so much.

“Pita, Lisa, Bernard, Eri­ka, Martin and Santi.”

Na-interview namin si Mico noong active pa siya sa showbiz at isa siya sa mga articulate actors na nakausap namin. He’s only 41 years old, napakabata pa.
