Muli ay nagbigay ng kanyang opinyon si KC Concepcion tungkol sa body shaming. As we all know, isa rin kasi ang dalaga sa mga madalas ma-bash at masabihang “mataba” dahil sa kanyang figure.
Featured si KC sa PreviewPh where she talked about body shaming. Sa kanyang post ay pinuri niya ang nasabing online magazine sa stand nito about the matter.
“@previewph I absolutely, absolutely love your intelligent stand on the topic of BODY SHAMING, BODY POSITIVITY, and our culture’s double standard when it comes to these topics,” simula niya.
“I am no longer a child... I am a WOMAN. And I will break the standards of beauty-or dare I say, ASIAN beauty, if I need to-by EMBRACING my CURVES,” patuloy niya.
Marami raw silang may voluptuous na pangangatawan ang palagi na lang bina-bash.
“There are so many women like me who have been shamed for their natural voluptuousness and made to cover and hide for TOO LONG.
“If you are like me, you need to know you are BEAUTIFUL in whatever shape or size — it’s your body, take care of her, love her, make her better.
“Ok ladies and ladies at heart: stay healthy, happy and sexy!!! Do you hear me? We DESERVE it,” pahayag ni KC.
