Ginanap ang EdukCircle nitong Sabado (September 21) at kara­mihan sa mga pinarangalan ay mga Kapamilya celebrities gaya ni Darren Espanto na tumang­gap ng karangalan for Male Music Artist of the Year, Most Outstanding Teen Artist of the Year and Most Influential Concert Performer of the Year.

Si Kathryn Bernardo naman ang nakatanggap ng award as the Most Influential Actress and Most Influential Female Endorser of the Year.

Sa panayam kay Kathryn, aniya, “Naniniwala ako na with influence, it comes with great responsibility. So, sana with these awards, I can make use of that influence to inspire other people lalung-lalo na ‘yung mga kabataan.”

Ang kanya namang reel and real-life boyfriend na si Daniel Padilla ay nagwagi bilang the Most Influential Male Film Actor and Most Influential Male Endorser of the Year.

“Maraming-maraming salamat po sa taun-taong pagtitiwala sa akin. EdukCircle, sa lahat po ng bumubuo, maraming-maraming salamat... Lagi pong masarap sa pakiramdam na pu­munta rito. Mabuhay po kayo, mga kapatid. Marami pa tayong gagawin na mabubuti para sa mundong ito,” paha­yag ni Daniel.

Kabilang sa mga nagwagi ang ilang Kapamilya celebrities gaya ng actress na si Judy Ann Santos, who was recognized as the Most Influential Female Celebrity Endorser of the Year, and Robi Domingo, who was honored as Best Male Reality Show Host of the Year.

Founded by chairman of EdukCircle International Center for Communication Studies (ICCS) Director Alexander M. Baltazar, the EdukCircle Awards aims to recognize personalities who have contributed to the Philippine television. Jury includes deans, academic chairs and officials from different schools within the country.
