Inamin ni MP Promo­tions President at interna­tional matchmaker Sean Gibbons na malabo nang matuloy ang inaasam na re­­match ng World Boxing As­sociation (WBA) welter­weight champ sa undefeated fighter ng U.S na si Floyd Mayweather Jr.“I wish I could give you the answer, but the only answer is Floyd May­weather knows, and that’s it, there is no fight, there is no possibility at the moment of the Floyd-Manny fight, Floyd said numerous times that he’s retired,” pahayag ni Gib­bons kahapon sa lingguhang PSA Forum sa Amelie Hotel sa Manila.

Mga ilang beses nang pumutok ang balita ng rematch ni Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KOs) at Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs), hanggang sa humantong pa sa parinigan sa social media kung saan naging mainit ang bulong-bulungang nag-e-ensayo na ang mamang itim. “So with that’s said, you know Floyd Mayweather is enjoying his retirement, I don’t blame him, if he doesn’t want another fight, like the senator again, because he got lucky one time, not gonna happen again,” wika ni Gibbons.

If there’s a real demand for it like (Juan Manuel) Marquez, like (Marco Antonio) Barrera, like (Erik) Morales, if the public have the huge demand, to do it again, then we’ll do it again,” esplika ni Gibbons. “He beat him clean, I don’t blame Keith. Keith would want a rematch, the Senator picks the right fights, and we’ll just keep moving on there’s a lot of guys out there to fight, at the moment, I wish him luck, there’s a lot of welterweights he can fight,” dagdag nito.
