SO, pinalitan na talaga ni Gabby Concepcion si Derek Ramsay sa Metro Manila Film Festival entry na (K)Ampon base sa bagong Instagram post ni Kris Aquino.

Ayon sa paliwanag ni Kris sa kan­yang mahabang post, nagkasagutan sila ni Derek pero in the end ay nagkain­tindihan din and she understood na top priority ng aktor ang GMA-7 dahil may kontrata siya rito.

“Derek Ramsay has a GMA NETWORK contract. Mahaba ang partnership nila ng QUANTUM FILMS, in fact for Atty. Joji, he’s like a son. This led to arguments between Atty. Joji & myself because I felt like the “AMPON” since many adjustments were being made for @ramsayderek07.

“Derek and I have spoken. We go way back, 2004-2005 when we did our San Miguel Beer TVC. Nagkasagutan pero dahil may pinagsamahan — nag­kaunawaan. I respect that he has a GMA Network contract that should be his top priority. CHILL kami,” ang unang impormasyon na ibinigay ni Kris sa kanyang mga followers. At ang pang-apat na pasabog niya, kinausap daw niya si Herbert Bautista para mag-cameo sa movie pero tinanggihan siya nito.

“Nagkamali ako. I was asked to communicate with Herbert Bautista for a SPECIAL PARTICIPATION role. Siyempre, while studying the script and the role, nakita niya may negative comments na about him in my feed.

“2nd, insensitive ako, I sent a script containing a love scene between man & wife, Clark (Gabby) and Grace (Kris). In my mind, friends na kami pero totoo naman, sa isip n’yo siya ang huli ninyong alam na naging “boyfriend” ko.

“Hindi naman kayo witness sa naging magandang CLOSURE namin at hindi n’yo alam na we openly share how proud we are about our respective children’s achievements. Kung alam ninyo ‘yun, no issue.

“But we chose to protect the friend­ship by keeping details private. Kaya nu’ng nag-NO siya because he didn’t want to be part of the “gulo,” una na-hurt at nagalit ako. Pero after praying, I understood. Nilagay ko ang sarili ko in his place. Kaya alam ko, I was asking for much.

“We’re not okay now, but hopefully in time we can be friends again,” Kris wrote.
