Pamilya ng 90-anyos na aktor, humihingi ng dasal… MANOY EDDIE, INATAKE SA PUSO, ISINUGOD SA OSPITAL

NATUMBA kahapon (Sabado) nang umaga ang veteran actor na si Eddie Garcia sa kasagsagan ng taping niya sa isang upcoming serye ng Kapuso Network.

Sa Facebook post ng TV5 entertainment reporter na si MJ Marfori, hiniling niyang mag-alay ng taimtim na dasal para sa aktor na nu’ng mga oras na ‘yun ay comatose raw sa ospital.

Kinumpirma rin ito kaagad ng GMA-7 director na si Direk Armand Reyes at sinabing nasa isang ospital sa Tondo ang beteranong aktor.

Nagdiwang ng 90th birthday ang aktor nito lamang nakaraang buwan.

Noong Hunyo 2 (Linggo), nakatanggap din ang veteran actor ng award kung saan isa siya sa mga hinirang na Natatanging Bituin ng Siglo (Outstanding Star of the Century) sa 35th Star Awards for Movies dahil sa laki ng naging ambag niya sa Phili­p­pine movie industry matapos siyang makagawa ng lagpas 300 na pelikula.

Samantala, kahapon din, naglabas na ng official statement ang pamilya ni Mr. Eddie Garcia.

“Manoy Eddie Garcia was at a taping this Saturday morn­ing when he suffered from a severe heart attack.

“He is still under critical observation and all his doctors are doing their best to assure that he gets the best care.

“Our family would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all those who have expressed concern and extended prayers. Please continue praying for Tito Eddie’s fast recovery.

“At 90, he is still doing what he loves most, acting. He is a pillar of the industry and is very passionate about his craft.

“We would like to request his fans and everyone to pray with us so he could get better the soonest time possible. Thank you.”
