Ngayong nakalabas na sa military… LEE MIN HO, SI KIM GO EUN ANG BAGO

HETO na ang pinakahihintay ng lahat ng Lee Min Ho fans. Kum­pirmado na ang comeback drama ng sikat na K-actor matapos ang kanyang military discharge.

Pagbibidahan ni Lee Min Ho ang fantasy-drama titled The King: The Eternal Monarch (literal title) at maka­kapa­reha niya ang sikat na aktres na si Kim Go Eun, ang leading lady ni Gong Yoo sa hit K-drama na Goblin.

Ang drama ay magsisilbing reunion ni Lee Min Ho with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook na nakatrabaho niya sa Heirs in 2013. Same with Kim Go Eun dahil nakatrabaho naman niya ang nasabing writer sa Goblin in 2016-2017.

Tulad ni Lee Min Ho, comeback drama rin ito ni Kim Go Eun after Goblin.

Ang nasabing drama ay production ng Hwa&Dam Pictures and in a statement na ini-release ng produksiyon, it said, “This is our second time working together after Heirs. This is because he is an actor we can trust. You can expect to see more mature and deeper acting from Lee Min Ho in The King: The Eternal Monarch.”

Ipinaliwanag na rin ng produksiyon kung ano ang tema ng nasabing fantasy-drama.

“The King: The Eternal Monarch will be a fantasy romance drama that goes between two parallel universes of the Republic of Korea and the Empire of Korea. Kim Go Eun will take on two different roles, as detective Jung Tae Eul in the Republic of Korea and the criminal Luna in the Empire of Korea,” pahayag ng source from Hwa&Dam Picture.

Dagdag pa ng source tungkol sa role ni Kim Go Eun, “It’s not easy to play two completely different characters of a detective and a criminal. We believe that with Kim Go Eun’s versatility as an actress, which she has shown in her various films and in her role in Goblin, where she sho­wed great depth as her character grew from a girl to a mature woman, she will be able to successfully take on the two different characters.”

Gagampanan naman ni Lee Min Ho ang papel na emperor ng Korean empire na si Lee Gon who seeks to keep the doors closed sa pagitan ng dala­wang mundo. He will be working with detective Jung Tae Eul para maisara ang nasabing pintuan.

Sa ngayon ay kasalukuyan pa raw inaayos kung saang network ito ipapa­labas pati na ang broadcasting dates.

“Nothing has been decided yet with regard to the broadcaster or any broadcasting details,” pahayag ng isa sa staff ng Hwa&Dam Pictures na si Yoon Ha Rim.

The drama will be directed by Baek Sang Hoon na siya ring direktor ng Descendants of the Sun at Love in the Moonlight among others.

Ayon sa report, the drama is set to begin filming in the second half of the year and will begin airing in 2020.
