IN a throwback interview of Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa GGV, ipinakita on screen ang picture ng ex-husband niyang si Gabby Concepcion, tapos Vice Ganda asked her to react.
Maluha-luha ang Megastar na nagkuwento. She was at the top of her career noon at a very young age and she led a life like a princess dahil may kaya ang kanyang pamilya, and then she suddenly fell for Gabby.
She said, “Akala ko noon, perfect na ang life ko. I found my prince, so contented na ako.
“Then fast forward na nagpatuloy, hindi ko maiwasan na ma-feel sad for KC. At age 2 ½, ‘yung face niya, laging naka-smile turned sad. Hindi siya ‘yung kid who was always smiling.”
Dahil dito, kinailangan siyang bigyan ni Vice ng tissue to wipe her tears.
Then he asked her, “Okay, what would you like to ask him (pointing to Gabby’s picture onscreen)?”
Bigla naming narinig ang tatak-Megang halakhak. From tears to laughter kumbaga, and she uttered the words, “Ano’ng nangyari?”
Amidst a life of fame and fortune, having a good husband and beautiful children, deep inside, Mega’s heart has the pain she kept all these years whenever she recalls that she has not given KC the kind of life she deserved as a child.
