NAG-AALALA ang mga fans ni Kang Daniel na maaaring maka­apekto ang conflict nito with his management na LM Entertainment sa career nito na nakatakda pa namang i-launch as a solo artist.

Ilang araw nang laman ng mga Korean showbiz sites ang tungkol sa conflict ng dating miyembro ng sikat na disbanded South Korean boy group na Wanna One sa kanyang management.

Nagsimula ang issue nang lumabas ang balitang gusto na raw ni Kang Daniel na i-terminate ang kontrata niya with LM Entertainment. Pero parehong itinanggi ito ng dalawang kampo.

Si Kang Daniel ay naglabas ng open letter sa kanyang mga fans at nilinaw ang controversy. Inamin naman niyang may problema sila ng kanyang management pero ito ay dahil sa nagri-request siyang ma-transfer sa kanyang pangalan ang lahat ng kanyang social media accounts.

“Hello, this is Kang Daniel. First, thank you to the fans who have believed in and waited for me for a month or so. I’m sorry once again to bring this news through unpleasant news articles.

“Like the article that was unexpectedly released today, I am currently in dispute with LM Entertainment.

“Because I couldn’t show you all how I was doing on social media and I thought that you’d be worried, I requested my agency to transfer the social media accounts under my name [to me], so I can deliver even the smallest of updates.

“Although I repeatedly made these requests and waited for the agency to voluntarily transfer the accounts in order to show you all a better side of me, the company refused the requests for the transfer of the social media accounts, and an article about my dispute [with the agency] was released today.

“After learning about the article and taking some time to think, I was also very embarrassed when a lot of unfounded, malicious articles full of rumors were posted. However, because I was so worried about everyone who was about to become hurt by false stories, I’ve summoned up the courage to open a new personal Instagram account at noon tomorrow.

“Up until making a decision like this, I’ve had a lot of thoughts, and this is a decision made for purely myself and my fans. I miss everyone and I want to stand on stage again, too. I was able to get through this tiring moment due to your words and the memories we’ve had all this time. I’ll do my best so I can stand in front of everyone with a good image. Please believe in me and wait a little bit longer. The truth will be revealed,” ang nilalaman ng open letter ni Kang Daniel.

Pahayag naman ng LM Entertainment, “It is true that we received a certification of contents, but it was a request to modify clauses in the contract, not to terminate it. We are currently discussing the modification of the con­tract’s clauses.”

Inamin naman ng LM Entertainment na may misunderstanding sila with Kang Daniel, pero nasa point sila of doing their best to reach an agreement.

Nilinaw din ng LM Entertainment that Kang Daniel will still work with them regarding his solo debut.

“We’re currently doing a legal review. We will do our best so that this has no effect on Kang Daniel’s promotions in the entertainment industry,” pahayag naman ng legal representative ni Kang Daniel.

As of press time ay nakapagbukas ng kanyang bagong Instagram account si Kang Daniel 3 days ago, ang @daniel.k.here na sa ngayon ay may 600,000 followers na.

Ang una niyang binuksang IG account last January ay umani agad ng 1 million followers in less than 24 hours at ang isa pang account na @thisisdaniel_k ay may 2.7 million followers na.

Inanunsiyo na last January na bandang Abril nakatakda ang solo debut ni Kang Daniel and fans are hoping na maayos na ang conflict ng singer at ng management nito.
