FOOTBALL IN ACTION NI DEL ROSARIO, PATULOY

HABANG patuloy ang mainit na aksiyon sa Philam Life 7s Football League Season 3 at sa inaugural Mega­world 7s Youth League, iniimbita ni founder at commissioner Anton Del Rosa­rio ang lahat na ipagpatuloy ang pagsuporta sa panguna­hing seven-a-side football competition na idinaraos tuwing Linggo sa McKinley Hill Stadium sa Taguig City.

Sa pagsasalita niya sa lingguhang Usapang Sports forum ng Tabloid Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) sa National Press Club noong Huwebes, ikinu­wento ni del Rosario kung paano nagsimula at lumago ang liga. “I had taken eight or nine months off football and I started to miss the game so I put up something. We star­ted off with eight teams and in the second season, we expanded to 10 teams. We happened to have gotten our finals live on TV5. This is our third season running. I was able to partner for Philam Life which is the title sponsor. Now, we have 12 men’s teams and 32 youth teams,” ayon kay Del Rosario.

Mainit na ang mga laban sa torneo, kung saan ang men’s seniors league ay nasa mid­season habang ang youth league ay na­sa final match day sa Marso 3. (MC)
