Leading man sana ni Nadine… XIAN, SHOCKED NANG PALITAN NI CARLO SA MOVIE, WALANG MAGAWA

SI Xian Lim pala mismo ay nagulat nang palitan siya ni Carlo Aquino bilang leading man ni Nadine Lustre sa pelikula.

Sometime in October last year kasi, bigla na lang in-announce na he won’t be part of the movie anymore. Back then, he said hindi niya alam kung bakit.

Then, reports came out that Carlo Aquino already took over his role.

‘Di kaya kung drama ang genre ng film, naiisip ng pro­duction side na mas ba­bagay ang role kay Carlo kesa kay Xian? Mas mahusay magsalita ng Tagalog si Carlo kesa kay Xian who practically was raised in the States? Mas at home siyempre si Carlo sa Filipino dialogues and can give more expres­sion to the words he delivers.

Sa isang interview however, nagsalita tung­kol dito ang 29-year-old actor.

Xian explained, “Actually, ‘di ko rin alam kung ano ang nangyari. But they informed me na... I think, usually, na­man sa production, nangyayari ‘yun.

“I think everyone was just really excited in terms of promoting it. It was just a meeting kasi noong time na ‘yun, eh, and we weren’t really aware na they were gonna release it [agad].

“I think it’s more of changes talaga sa production, eh. I completely understand and hopefully, in the coming projects, I’m still hoping to get to work with all of them.”

Maraming fans niya raw ang nag­tata­nong.

“Sabi nila, ‘Ano’ng nangyari? ‘Di ba, dapat Xian was supposed to be part of it?’”

“‘Yun nga, to be ano, ikukuwento ko lang ‘yung nangyayari sa production, talagang nagbabago, eh. Siyempre, sa schedule, hindi nagtutugma.

“The team behind the production, napakarami, you see the actors but behind it, there’s like 20, 25, 30 people there or more, so kailangang magtugma lahat ng schedules and the actors as well. So ‘yun, may mangyayari talaga at mang­yayari.”
