BANARIO, SUSUKATIN SI TYNANES SA ONE WORLD GRAND PRIX

ITINUTURING ni Honorio “The Rock” Bana­rio na magiging pahirapan ang kanyang laban kontra Lowen Tynanes ng U.S. sa opening round ng ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix.

Magsasagupa sila sa One: Hero’s Ascent, na idaraos sa MOA Arena sa Enero 25. Nais sukatin ni Ba­nario, dating ONE Featherweight World Cham­pion ang kanyang tikas laban sa isa sa best lightweight athletes sa mundo.

Ma­susubok nang husto si “The Rock” kontra 28-anyos na Hawaiian State Wrestling Champion.

“This will be a good fight because this will test if I have really improved my wrestling. Lowen Tynanes is something else, he has good wrestling and a high-level athlete. He’s a very well-rounded martial artist,” saad ni Banario.

“It’s a big challenge for me to get in the cage with him. My team was surprised when we found out that he will be my first opponent for the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix. But we have a lot of time for training so we came up with a game plan to beat him.”

Ipinagmamalaki ng Ewa Beach, Hawaii, unbeaten na si Tyna­nes bilang lightweight mixed martial artists ang wa­lang dungis na record na 9-0 na may apat na panalo sa bisa ng submission at dalawa sa knockout. Tumatak ang panalo niya noong 2012 nang umis­kor siya ng stoppage victory la­ban kay current ONE Lightweight World Title Eduard “Landslide” Folayang.
