4-DAY PATAFA COACHING CLINIC SA PHILSPORTS, OPEN SA PUBLIC

PARA mapataas ang kalidad ng coaches, nagsagawa ang PATAFA ng apat na araw na coaching clinics sa Metro Manila sa mga coaches sa public schools na pinamahalaan ng national coaches na idinaos sa Philsports, Pasig City.

Kilala sa acronym ACES (Athletics Coaching Enhancement System), ang coaching clinic ay ay dinaluhan nang may 300 kalahok mula sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Metro Manila.

Ang nasabing clinic ay pinamamahalaan ng PATAFA Athletics Academy sa ilalim ng Associations of Athletics Federation ni Sebastian Coe ng Great Britain at suportadso ng Philippine Sports Commission ni Chairman William Ramirez. “We initiated the coaching clinic primarily to raise the standard of coaches in public schools and keep them abreast to the current situation,” ayon kay PATAFA president Philip E. Juico.

Tinatalakay sa nasabing clinic ang physiological basis of athletics performances; general principles of athletics; factors that determine physical and physiological development; technology in athletics; biomechanical principles in human performance; techniques in athletics-running; and endurance assessment and training.
