Pinayagan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga overseas Filipino health workers na may complete documents na magtrabaho sa ibang bansa, ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
Saad ni Roque, “‘Yung mga health professionals na kumpleto po ang documentation as of August 31, 2020, pinayagan na po kayo ni Presidente makaalis para sa inyong mga trabaho abroad."
Ayon sa Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, nagkaroon ng deployment ban ng mga doktor, nurses atbp. health workers noong April 2 upang ma-prioritize ang “human resource allocation for the national health care system at the time of the national state of emergency.”
