Aniya, “I have been quiet because the thought was hard to accept. This is my now reality.”
Bago ang lahat ay pinasalamatan muna ni Kris ang St Luke’s Global dahil nirespeto ang kanyang privacy nang lumabas ang fake news na ikakasal siya ay kasalukuyan naman siyang naka-confine.
Ang latest post ni Kris ay ang resulta ng kanyang PET SCAN.
“Yes, the test is normally done to rule out cancer. In my case, after my exhausting chest CT scan as well as a scan below my eyes (my nose and upper cheeks) to check on my breathing and sinus passages because of my constant headaches and never ending runny nose.
“It was devastating, after my Pet scan, I was knocked out bagsak from my jetlag and sedation. I could sense something was wrong because my team of doctors didn’t do their normal rounds.
“The next day, my gastroenterologist had no choice byt to tell me because I need to start my purge for my endoscopy and colonoscopy. The abdominal area specifically my colon area lit up. I’m normally very BRAVE.
“But I broke down after my doctor left. My nurse and the SLMC nurse saw me and said they had in, and it felt surreal,” kuwento ni Kris.
Nabanggit ng mama nina Josh at Bimb na ang lola nilang si dating Presidente Corazon C. Aquino ay namatay sa sakit na colon cancer stage 4 noong Marso, 2008. At ito rin pala ang naging sakit din ng mama ni Gng. Aquino na ang tawag ni Kris ay “Lola Ma”, kanser din sa colon.
“Kuya Josh and Bimb also have the same blood type, ang hirap to message my sisters with my news. All 5 of us share the same blood type as our mom,” sambit pa ni Kris.
At ang pinakamahirap daw sa parte niya bilang ina ay “Hardest was to tell Bimb. Tuloy siya in the small sofa, he woke up when my pulmonologist (came), she was also my mom’s and brother’s (and) was explaining that I was definitely free from Tuberculosis (an early fear) but there was numerous dots, possibly scarring in my right lung most likely from my being a Covid Long Hauler from late June 2024 up to August 2024 and from my RGPA (3rd of 5 diagnosed autoimmune disorder).”

At ang maganda niyang balita niya, “Clear intestines. No visible sign of cancer.”
Ang problema ay ang 3 autoimmune conditions niya na life-threatening, ang Churg Strauss na ang tawag ngayon ay EGPA, Systemic Sclerosis or SCLERODERMA at ang LUPUS o Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).
“I now have 5, possibly 6 autoimmune conditions. But the scary part is that 3 of the diagnosed ones are life threatening in other words- puwedeng ma-damage my vital organs or my blood vessels, specifically my artery connecting my lungs to my heart- to the extent na I can die immediately from a stroke or aneurysm or cardiac arrest,” esplika ng mama nina Josh at Bimb.
Dagdag pa, “I am now suffering from a Lupus Arthritis flare. Deep bone pain. Hirap ako to walk without assistance. I’ll start my physical rehabilitation therapy in a few days. But I need to do so with a walker.”
Mahina rin daw ang kanyang immune system: “My immunity is zero. Ang ubo for me can easily be pneumonia and ICU confinement. Strict rule, no direct, even indirect sun exposure or my lupus flares will be triggered as well as my Scleroderma.”
At kahit na may mga ganitong karamdaman ang ‘Queen of Social Media’ ay inaming mapapanood siya sa ABS-CBN bago raw magtapos ang 2024.
Aniya, “Para hindi kayo magsawang magdasal Sabi n’yo, you miss watching me. I want to thank my former ABS-CBN bosses for allowing Jasmin and Darla to work with me on a show which will launch before 2024 ends.

Isang pang balita ni Kris, “Apologies, but until my groom and I exchange vows in that very small wedding (but surely not held outdoors), I’m choosing to keep my relationship private. Ibalato n’yo na sa akin ‘yun, Invited kayong lahat if and when ang kasal.”
