Isang netizen ang nag-post ng umano'y deforestation image sa Sierra Madre na agad naging viral at kinomentuhan ni Anne.
Ayon sa netizen, may mining operation umano sa Dinapigue, Isabela na pinayagan ng lokal na pamahalaan sa loob ng 25 taon.

Kinumpirma ng ilang opisyal na ito ay may kaugnayan sa operasyon ng Dinapigue Mining Corporation, na may 25-taong kontrata at permit mula sa national government.
Ipinaliwanag ng mga kinatawan ng MGB (Mines and Geosciences Bureau) na ang operasyon ay legal, dokumentado, at aprubado. Giit naman ng ilang environmental advocates, ang legalidad ng operasyon ay hindi sapat na dahilan upang isantabi ang environmental impact, lalo na sa kagubatang matagal nang itinuturing na “natural shield” ng bansa tuwing may bagyo.
