‘MAG-IISIP NA SILA KUNG MAHUHULOG DIN BA SILA SA BANGIN’

Makakaapekto umano sa mental wellness ng mga undersecretary at assistant secretary sa mga opisina ng mga departamento ang pagkamatay ni dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Ma. Catalina Cabral, ayon kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

“Dahil ‘yung mga kaparte ng mga anomalya, mag-iisip na sila kung mahuhulog din ba sila sa bangin,” ani VP Sara.

Samantala, tumangging magkomento ang Bise kung may foul play sa pagkamatay ni Cabral, “Hindi ako maka-speculate kung ano ang nangyari doon sa Kennon Road dahil hindi ko naman nabasa kung ano ‘yung mga report.”

Hindi itinanggi o kinumpirma ni Vice President Sara Duterte kung totoong binisita niya si dating Negros Oriental Rep. Arnie Teves sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City.

Kasunod ito ng pahayag ni DILG Sec. Jonvic Remulla na bumisita siya kay Teves.

“Ang sinasabi ko, wala akong iko-confirm or ide-deny. Kung gusto nilang sila ang magsalita, then magsalita sila,” ani VP Sara.

Kasabay nito, iginiit din ng Bise Presidente na hindi niya kilala si Ramil Madriaga.

Dokumento ng insertions, ipinaubaya ni Cabral kay Leviste

Ipinaubaya umano ni dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Usec. Maria Catalina Cabral kay Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Leviste ang ilang dokumentong naglalaman ng mga sangkot sa insertions ng maanomalyang flood control projects sa bansa.

Ayon kay Leviste, “[Ex-DPWH] Usec. Cabral gave me files of DPWH insertions of the whole country, thanks to Sec. Vince. [I] will release them if he tells me to.”

Natanggap umano niya ang mga dokumento noon pang Setyembre 4 matapos kausapin ni DPWH Sec. Vince Dizon ang dating undersecretary para ibigay ito sa kanya.

Naipakita na rin umano niya ang mga dokumento sa Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) at Ombudsman nitong Nobyembre.

“The release of the files would have wide-ranging consequences. They list proponents of flood control and other DPWH projects from the whole government – not only Congressmen and Senators, but also people from the Executive, including Secretaries and Undersecretaries outside DPWH, as well as private individuals,” saad pa nito.
