P-Duterte hangad ang magandang kapalaran at katatagan ng mga Pinoy ngayong Year of the Water Tiger

Hangad ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang magandang kapalaran at katatagan ng mga Pilipino ngayong Chinese New Year.

“My warmest greetings to the entire Filipino nation and the Chinese community in the Philippines as we celebrate Chinese New Year. This year of the Water Tiger is hoped to bring us good fortune and renewed strength as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges that have tested our mettle as a nation," pahayag ni Duterte.

"It is my fervent prayer that 2022 will be a better year for all of us, in terms of wealth, health, relationships and progress. Let us continue to demonstrate the ideals of bayanihan and malasakit, especially to those who are most in need," dagdag pa ng pangulo.

Sinabi rin ng pangulo na dapat salubungin ng mga Pilipino ang bagong taon na may pag-asa.

“Let us all look forward to more opportunities for growth and prosperity in the New Year and become instruments of peace, harmony and generosity to all," ani Duterte.

"Mabuhay and Kiong Hee Huat Tsai," dagdag pa niya.

De Leon at Fajardo, 2 pang bagong associate justice ng CA – P-Du30

Nagtalaga si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng dalawang pang associate justice sa Court of Appeals, na kapwa may degree mula sa kanyang alma mater, ang San Beda College of Law.

Sa hiwalay na appointment letters na may petsang Mayo 24, 2021, subalit nai-release sa publiko ngayon lamang Biyernes, itinalaga ni Pangulo Duterte sina Maximo De Leon at Jacinto Fajardo, Jr., na parehong regional trial court judges.

Presiding judge ng Makati RTC Br. 143 si De Leon habang si Fajardo ay presiding judge ng RTC Talisay City, Cebu Br. 66.

Pareho ang dalawa na mga Bedan.

Si Fajardo ay nagtapos ng kanyang law degree mula sa San Beda University sa Manila at pumasa sa Bar Exams noong 1985.

Si De Leon naman ay nagtapos ng kanyang law degree sa University of Nueva Caceres habang ang kanyang masters degree in law ay sa San Beda Graduate School of Law. Pumasa siya sa Bar Exams noong 1996.

Isinilang si Fajardo sa Gubat, Sorsogon noong 1955 habang si De Leon ay ipinanganak sa Latag, Taal, Batangas noong 1965. Base ang mga impormasyon na ibinigay ng Supreme Court Public Information Office.

Jennifer Joy Chua Ong, bagong Court of Appeals associate justice – P-Du30

Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Jennifer Joy Chua Ong, isang opisyal sa ilalim ng kanyang opisina, bilang bagong Court of Appeals associate justice, batay sa mga lumabas na dokumento nitong Biyernes.

Isang source mula sa Malacañang ang nagsabing si Ong ang pinakabagong isang undersecretary sa ilalim ng Office of the President na na-appoint.

Sa 2018 at 2020 government directory ay naitalaga rin siya bilang Presidential Assistant I na may rank ng undersecretary sa ilalim ng Office of the Special Assistant to President.

Sa appointment letter ni Ong, makikitang siya ay na-appoint sa posisyon noong Mayo 20, 2021. Ito ay nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

Subalit, ayon kay Supreme Court Spokesperson Brian Keith Hosaka nitong Biyernes, ang letter aniya, “received today (January 21) and Justice Ong took her oath before the Chief Justice this noon.”

Sa mga larawan na nai-share ng Supreme Court Public Information Office (PIO), makikita si Ong sa kanyang oath taking kay Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo sa Supreme Court nitong Biyernes ng tanghali. Habang naroon din si CA Presiding Justice Remedios Salazar-Fernando sa ceremony.
