Naghayag ng kanyang lungkot ang It’s Showtime (IS) host na si Anne Curtis sa magkakasunod na trahedyang naganap dahil sa mga vehicular accidents sa bansa.
Nag-post ng saloobin si Anne sa X (dating Twitter) kahapon.
Panimula niya, “Seeing so many vehicle accidents on the news with lives tragically taken. So many young lives being taken away so soon.”
Dasal ni Anne na magkaroon ng wake-up call sa mga ahensiya ng gobyerno na nagbibigay sa publiko ng pahintulot na magpaandar ng mga sasakyan sa kalsada.
“I truly pray and hope this is a wake up call for those in the DTO and LTO to find ways to ensure that drivers and vehicles on the roads meet the highest safety and licensing standards,” sey ni Anne.
Sa last part ng kanyang mensahe, sinabi rin ni Anne ang nararamdaman niyang lungkot para sa mga naiwang pamilya ng mga namatayan dahil sa mga trahedyang nangyari.
“My heart goes out to all those left to grieve for their parents, significant other, family member and their children,” pakikiramay ni Anne.
Pinasalamatan ng mga netizens si Anne sa kanyang post sa X.
Sabi ng isa, “Thank you for speaking up about this, @annecurtissmith. It's heartbreaking how frequent these accidents have become. Stronger enforcement of traffic laws and better driver education are truly needed. Prayers for all the families affected.

Merong netizen ang nag-post ng comment sa mensahe ni Anne sa X na kaanak ng isa na namang biktima ng vehicular accident.
Pahayag ng netizen, “Kami namatayan kaninang umaga dahil sa lasing na driver. Ang lolo ko pumunta para kumuha ng ayuda pero hindi na nakauwi nang buhay, naputulan ng paa at namatay.”

Meron ding nag-comment asking Anne sa kanyang non-appearance sa Grand Resbak finals sa IS, “Pero kailan ka po babalik sa @itsShowtimeNa? ‘Di ka man lang nagparamdam sa Grand Resbak finals.”

From the initial pool of 15 male and 19 female candidates, the judges will select the Top 7 male and Top 7 female finalists for the ultimate runway showdown.
In the end, only one male and one female will be crowned the grand winners of Catwalk Philippines 2025. Each winner will receive a P50,000 thousand cash prize and valuable modeling contracts with both DCP and Ignis Novus Artist Management, the talent division of FirstSun Production.
