Papasok sa Baguio, oks nang walang medical certificate

Hindi na kailangang magpakita ng medical clearance/certificate ang mga traveler-residents mula sa munisipalidad ng La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba at Tublay (LISTT) na papasok sa Baguio City, ayon sa inilabas na bagong Executive Order ni Mayor Benjamin Magalong na epektibo simula sa February 16.

Sa ilalim ng naturang EO 21, series of 2021, ang mga papasok sa Baguio para sa work-related purposes ay hindi na required magsumite ng negative antigen o RT-PCR test results.

Pahayag din ng Public Information Office (PIO) ng Benguet, “Cargo and logistic services for essential and non-essential goods and utilities for water, electricity, IT, telecommunications, fuel products and waste management shall be afforded unhampered passage, but may be subject to random inspection by the member of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

“Government agencies and those providing emergency services of humanitarian aid during times of typhoons or calamity shall also be afforded unhampered passage.”

Higit 100 katao, sugatan sa magnitude 7.3 na lindol sa Japan

Sugatan ang mahigit 100 katao matapos tumama ang magnitude 7.3 na lindol sa northeastern Japan noong Sabado, alas-11:08 PM.

Nayanig din ang mga gusali sa Tokyo at tinatayang higit sa 900,000 kabahayan ang nawalan ng suplay ng kuryente. Kaagad namang naibalik ang power supply kinabukasan.

Sa inisyal na ulat ng Japan Meteorological Agency, naitala ang epicenter ng lindol sa 220 kilometers (135 miles) north ng Tokyo at mula sa magnitude 7.1 ay itinaas ito sa magnitude 7.3.

Samantala, wala namang naiulat na nasawi sa insidente.

Registration schedule para sa mga overseas voter, inilabas ng Comelec

Naglabas ng bagong voter registration schedule ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) ngayong Sabado para sa mga overseas voters na nais magparehistro para sa darating na national at local elections sa 2022.

Ayon kay Comelec-Office for Overseas Voting (OFOV) Director Sonia Bea Wee-Lozada, maaaring magsumite ng application simula Lunes hanggang Biyernes, 8 AM-5 PM sa mga sumusunod na field registration centers sa Metro Manila:

• COMELEC-OFOV, Ground Floor, Palacio del Gobernador Building, General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila

• Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) - Aseana, Bradco Avenue cor. Macapagal Boulevard, Aseana Business Park, Parañaque

• Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Blas F. Ople Building, Ortigas Avenue cor. EDSA, Mandaluyong

• Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), SM Manila Satellite Office, Almeda-Lopez cor. A. Villegas and 1000 San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila.

• Samantala, kailangan munang mag-set ng appointment ang mga nais magparehistro sa COMELEC-OFOV sa pamamagitan ng mga sumusunod:

Ang mga Pilipino na inaasahang umalis ng bansa simula sa April 10 hanggang May 9, 2022 ay maaaring magparehistro bilang overseas voters.

Saad pa ng Comelec, ang huling araw para makapag-file ng application sa pagpaparehistro bilang overseas voters ay hanggang sa September 30, 2021.
