KALINISAN program, nakakolekta ng 2.6M kilong basura

Nakakuha ng higit sa 2.6-milyong kilo ng basura sa pagsisimula ng programa ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. sa  Kalinga at Inisyatiba Para Sa Malinis na Bayan (KALINISAN).

Sa pahayag ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO) nitong Lunes, naglunsad ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ng programa nitong Sabado kasama ang pambansang sabayang paglilinis na kasali ang 9K na barangay.

Saad ng PCO, “A national status report of the DILG released late Sunday showed the KALINISAN program had collected 2,646,948 kilograms of trash from 9,189 participating barangays in the country.” 

Nakiisa ang higit sa 580K katao at 100k lokal na opisyal sa nasabing clean-up drive.

Parlade, Badoy at Pialago, pasok sa 8 spokesperson ng NTF-ELCAC

Pinangalanan na ang walong itatalaga bilang mga bagong spokesperson ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) ngayong umaga, May 14.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Undersecretary Joel Egco, “In the next few days, the NTF-ELCAC will be announcing the designation of more spokespersons in the regions besides the national spokesperson, including me, there are 8 of us right now—there will be regional spokesperson for the regional task forces of ELCAC.”

Maliban kay Egco, kabilang din sa mga itinalaga bilang spokesperson si Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade, Jr., kasama sina:

1. PCOO Usec. Lorraine Marie Badoy - Social Media Affairs, Sectoral Concerns

2. DILG Usec. Jonathan Malaya - Local Government Affairs, Barangay Development Program, International Engagement

3. Usec. Severo Catura - Presidential Human Rights Committee Secretariat) - International Affairs, Peace Process, Human Rights Concerns

4. Asec. Celine Pialago of MMDA - NTF-ELCAC Public Affairs and Information, Youth Concerns

5. Atty. Marlon Bosantog - National Commission on Indigenous Peoples) - Legal Affairs, Indigenous Peoples Concerns

6. Gayedelle Florendo - Assistant Spokesperson on NTF-ELCAC Public Affairs and on Indigenous Peoples Concerns

Sabi pa ni Egco, “Right now, nandito ang ating media bureau to basically iron out whatever deficiencies we had in the past and were actually making sure that we're bringing out the good news and continue to send the message to our people what NTF-ELCAC is and its flagship projects also.”

Matatandaan namang iginiit ng ilang mambabatas na pag-aaksaya lamang sa pondo ng gobyerno ang pagtatalaga ng mga bagong spokesperson. Gayunman, nilinaw ni Egco na hindi bayad o walang sahod ang mga nabanggit na opisyal.

“Ang ating principle dito, one message, a thousand messengers, a thousand voices with the same line of messaging. Isa lang naman ang messaging natin dito: to end local communist armed conflict,” sabi pa niya.

Sa ngayon ay hindi pa nabanggit kung saang region itatalaga ang mga bagong spokesperson.

Naniniwala naman ang pamahalaan na matutugunan ng mga ito ang paghahatid ng mensahe hinggil sa usaping pang-komunista.

PCOO Secretary Andanar, magaling na sa Covid

Nakarekober na sa COVID-19 si Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar ngayong Sabado, Abril 10.

Batay sa ibinahaging statement ng PCOO sa social media, “I am pleased to share that I have fully recovered from COVID-19 after undergoing a 14-day home quarantine.”

Dagdag pa niya, “I thank the Lord for this blessing of being able to overcome the virus. I am also very grateful for my family, loved ones, and colleagues, among others, for all their support and prayers while I undertook my recovery.”

Matatandaang nagpositibo sa virus si Andanar nu’ng ika-27 ng Marso at sumailalim sa home quarantine.

Pinaaalalahanan naman niya ang mga mamamayan na sumunod sa health protocols upang hindi na madagdagan ang mga nagpopositibo sa lumalaganap na pandemya.
