P38M smuggled na yosi, nasabat ng BOC

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang smuggled cigarettes na tinatayang aabot sa halagang P38 million sa Manila International Container Port (MICP) noong Hunyo 11.

Sa isinagawang physical examination, natagpuan ang 1,090 master cases ng sigarilyo na may brand na Marvel, Mighty at Astro.

Saad pa ng BOC, “The shipment was consigned to GREEN NATURE ALLIANCE VENTURES and was subjected to 100% physical examination by the Formal Entry Division (FED), with members of the Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) and CIIS as witnesses.”

Samantala, naghain na ang BOC ng Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD) laban sa mga nasa likod ng naturang shipment dahil sa paglabag sa Customs Modernization and Tarrif Act (CMTA) at National Tobacco Authority (NTA).

3 Smuggled luxury cars na halagang P20 M, nasabat ng BOC

Nasabat ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang hinihinalang smuggled luxury cars na tinatayang nagkakahalagang P20 million noong Miyerkules.

Sa tulong ng Manila International Container Port (MICP) at Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), nasabat ng BOC ang 3 sasakyang hinihinalang smuggled na idineklarang “used truck parts” mula sa Japan.

Sa isinagawang physical investigation, napag-alamang tinabunan ng mga ‘ukay-ukay’ na damit ang mga sasakyan na ang consignee ay ang JLFDM Consumer Goods Trading.

Saad pa ng BOC, “This information led to the issuance of an Alert Order against the shipment. A 100% physical inspection was conducted witnessed by members of the Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) and Formal Entry Division (FED) of the Port. The examination revealed 33 bales of ukay-ukay concealing therewith the 3 vehicles.”

Ang mga naturang sasakyan ay isang Ferrari F430 Scuderia, isang Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG at isang Mercedes Benz E220.

Pahayag ng BOC, “A Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD) is immediately issued against the shipment for possible violation of Section 1400 of Republic Act (RA) 10863, otherwise known as the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).”
