Paghabol ng SSS sa mga delingkuwenteng employer, non-stop

Hello, Bulgarians! Hinimok nina Social Security System (SSS) President and Chief Executive Officer Rolando Ledesma Macasaet (kaliwang larawan, ika-2 mula kaliwa) at Social Security Commissioner na kumakatawan sa Employers’ Group Robert Joseph M. De Claro (kanang larawan, ika-3 mula sa kaliwa) ang mga may-ari ng pharmacy at household appliances retail store upang ayusin ang kanilang mga delingkuwensya sa kontribusyon sa katatapos na Run After Contribution Evaders (RACE) operation sa Taguig City.

Ang dalawang establisimyento ay kabilang sa anim na delingkuwenteng employer na nakatanggap ng notice of violation mula sa SSS dahil sa hindi pag-remit ng kontribusyon ng mga manggagawa nito at hindi paggawa ng mga record. Ang mga employer ay nagtamo ng P3.4 milyon sa hindi nabayarang kontribusyon ng mga manggagawa at multa.

Ang mga employer ay may 15 araw lamang para makipag-ugnayan sa SSS Bicutan-Sun Valley Branch at ayusin ang kanilang mga delingkuwensya sa kontribusyon upang maiwasan ang pagsasampa ng mga kasong sibil, kriminal, at administratibo laban sa kanila dahil sa paglabag sa Republic Act No. 11199 o ang Social Security Act of 2018.

Koleksyon ng Pag-IBIG umabot NG P67B sa Q3

Hello, Bulgarians! Kamakailan ang mga miyembro ng Pag-IBIG Fund ay sama-samang nakapag-ipon ng P66.73 bilyon sa unang siyam na buwan ng 2023, tumaas ng P6.3 bilyon o 10% year-on-year, dahil mas maraming miyembro ang nag-ambag ng higit sa kinakailangang buwanang ipon, inihayag ng mga opisyal ng ahensya noong Lunes (Okt 23).

“We are happy that more Filipino workers are saving with Pag-IBIG Fund. The trust and confidence in our savings programs continue to grow as proven by our record-high members’ savings collections in January to September 2023. This is good news because the increase in the savings collected shall allow us to finance the increasing demand for our home loans and short-term loans, and thus allow us to serve more members. This is in line with the directive of President Marcos to provide financial access to better the future of every Filipino,” pahayag ni Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar, na namumuno sa Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at sa 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.

Samantala, sinabi ni Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta na ang mga koleksyon mula sa mandatory Regular Savings at voluntary MP2 Savings ng ahensya ay parehong tumaas at na-post bilang bagong mga record-high.

Ang mga koleksyon mula sa Pag-IBIG Regular Savings ay umabot sa P31.6 bilyon, tumaas ng 7% mula sa P29.6 bilyon mula sa parehong panahon noong nakaraang taon. Kasama sa halaga ang P7.69 bilyon na upgraded savings mula sa mga miyembro, o savings na boluntaryong ipinagkatiwala ng mga miyembro sa Pag-IBIG Fund bukod pa sa kinakailangang buwanang ipon.

Ang MP2 Savings ng ahensya, sa kabilang banda, ay napanatili ang katanyagan nito dahil umabot sa P35.13 bilyon ang koleksyon, 14% na pagtaas mula sa P30.81 bilyon na nakolekta noong Setyembre ng nakaraang taon.

“The record-high in members’ savings we collected from January to September this year shows the wider appreciation of our members on the benefits of saving with Pag-IBIG Fund. We are grateful that the biggest growth areas in our savings collections come from our voluntary MP2 Savings and from members who save more than their mandated monthly savings,” sabi ni Acosta.

“We recognize that our members’ trust in our programs stems from how we have gained competitive returns on their savings over the past many years. We highly value that trust and that is why we assure them that we shall continue to prudently manage their hard-earned savings. That is the Lingkod Pag-IBIG way,” dagdag pa ni Acosta.
