SSS Zambo at DOLE 9-RCC, joint forces para sa KaSSSangga Collect Program

Hello, Bulgarians! Kamakailan ay lumagda ang Social Security System (SSS) Zamboanga Branch ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) kasama ang mga miyembro ng ahensya ng Department of Labor and Employment 9-Regional Coordinating Committee (DOLE 9-RCC) para sa social security coverage at proteksyon ng kanilang Job Order (JO) na manggagawa.

Sa pamamagitan ng KaSSSangga Collect Program, 70 JO worker sa ilalim ng DOLE ang irerehistro bilang SSS self-employed member dahil hindi sila sakop ng Government Service Insurance System (GSIS). 

Sa pamamagitan ng automatic salary deduction scheme, ang buwanang kontribusyon ng mga JO worker ay maire-remit nang maayos, kaya magiging kuwalipikado sila sa mga benepisyo at pribilehiyo sa ilalim ng Social Security (SS) at Employees’ Compensation (EC) Programs.

Ang mga ahensyang miyembro na sumali sa ilalim ng DOLE 9-RCC ay ang National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), National Conciliation Mediation Board (NCMB), Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC), at Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC).

P843.11B fire insurance para sa 132k iskul, sagot ng GSIS

Hello, Bulgarians! Inihayag ng Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) na hakbangin nitong palakasin ang katatagan ng educational infrastructure sa bansa, na magbibigay ito ng fire insurance para sa mahigit 132,000 public school buildings sa ilalim ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa buong bansa.

Ang kabuuang fire insurance para sa mga pampublikong paaralan ay nagkakahalaga ng P843.11 bilyon, at sakop nito ang fire, lightning, and natural catastrophes sa loob ng isang taon na epektibo mula Enero 1, 2024.

Tumulong ang Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) sa pagsasama-sama ng insurance coverage, na minarkahan ang mahalagang hakbang sa pagtutok ng bansa sa seguridad sa imprastraktura ng edukasyon sa ilalim ng National Indemnity Insurance Program (NIIP).

Ang NIIP ay inisyatiba ng BTr, na naglalayong magbigay ng sapat at komprehensibong proteksyon sa mga kritikal na asset ng pamahalaan tulad ng mga paaralan, ospital, kalsada, at tulay.

 “With the rising frequency of natural calamities, protecting public school buildings becomes a priority of the government. Our partnership with DepEd is a step towards ensuring financial resilience in support of its MATATAG agenda,” pahayag ni GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso.

Bilang karagdagan sa pag-insure sa mga gusali ng paaralan ng DepEd, ang GSIS ay nagbigay ng 24/7 personal accident insurance coverage para sa lahat ng tauhan ng DepEd, na sumasakop sa death at medical expenses.

“We are committed to look after the well-being of our DepEd members by providing them with strong insurance protection,” pahayag ni Veloso.

4PH Projects pinondohan ng Pag-IBIG

Hello, Bulgarians! Ayon sa mga matataas na opisyal ng Pag-IBIG Fund, inaprubahan kamakailan ang P929-million revolving credit line para sa Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) upang pondohan ang mga proyektong pabahay sa ilalim ng Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Housing o 4PH Program na may kabuuang 2,264 housing units ang nakatakdang itayo sa Pampanga, Manila, Misamis Oriental at Davao City.

“I am happy to report that our key shelter agencies remain united in their mission of bringing opportunities for homeownership closer to our fellow Filipinos, especially the underserved. With Pag-IBIG Fund’s approval of a revolving credit line for the SHFC, we are now better equipped to provide our informal settler families (ISFs) with affordable housing in a safe environment under secured communities, which is what we envision under the 4PH Program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.,” pahayag ni Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar, namumuno sa Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at sa 11-member Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.

Ang revolving credit line ng Pag-IBIG Fund para sa SHFC ay tutustusan ang pagpapatayo ng medium at high-rise condominiums sa ilalim ng 4PH program na binubuo ng 996 units sa San Fernando City, Pampanga, 352 units sa Tondo, Manila, 416 units sa Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental at 500 units sa Davao City. Upang matiyak ang wasto at mahusay na paggamit ng mga pondo, ang revolving credit line ay naglalaman ng mga pananggalang na kinabibilangan ng kaukulang mga loan collateral na ibinigay ng SHFC, na may maximum na termino ng pagbabayad na tatlong taon at mga probisyon na nagtitiyak sa pagpapalabas ng mga pondo para sa mga nilalayong proyekto.

Samantala, sinabi ni Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta na ang Fund’s credit line para sa SHFC ay bahagi ng pangako nito sa pagsisikap ng Administrasyong Marcos na tugunan ang backlog ng pabahay sa ilalim ng 4PH Program.

“Pag-IBIG stands as the single largest source of home financing in the country today, with a share of nearly 40% of the home mortgage market. We recognize our role in providing the financing for socialized housing projects so that these become more accessible and affordable for low-income earners. We are happy to partner with the SHFC under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino or 4PH Program, so that our ISF communities will now have a better chance of owning quality homes in sustainable communities. Our members can expect more similar partnerships to provide them even more opportunities to own a home,” sabi ni Acosta.
