Magdudulot ang namataang isang low pressure area (LPA) ng maulap na papawirin na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at thunderstorms sa buong Caraga at Eastern Visayas, habang ang Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) ay makaaapekto sa Northern at Central Luzon, batay sa ulat ng PAGASA ngayong Sabado.


Ayon sa 4PM weather forecast ng PAGASA, ang Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Aurora, at Quezon ay makararanas ng maulap na papawirin na may mga pag-ulan dulot ng Amihan.


Makararanas naman ang Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, at ang natitirang bahagi ng Central Luzon ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na papawirin na may pabugso-bugsong mahinang pag-ulan.


Habang ang natitirang bahagi ng bansa ay makararanas ng bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na papawirin na may kasamang pabugso-bugsong pagbuhos ng ulan o thunderstorms na posibleng magdulot ng mga pagbaha o landslides sa panahon ng severe thunderstorms.


Sa wind speed forecast ng PAGASA sa natitirang bahagi ng bansa, katamtaman hanggang sa malakas na pagbugso habang ang coastal waters ay magiging katamtaman hanggang sa mabigat na pag-alon nito.


Ang araw ay sisikat ng alas-6:25 ng umaga ng Linggo.

Asahan ngayong araw ang maulap na kalangitan at panaka-nakang ulan, ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).


Ayon sa Pagasa, makararanas ng maulap na kalangitan at pag-ulan ang ilang parte ng Mindanao dahil sa shear line o tail-end ng cold front.


“Ito pong shear line ay nagdadala ng pag-ulan sa eastern section ng Mindanao,” ani Pagasa weather specialist Samuel Duran.


Makararanas din ng pag-ulan ang Caraga region, Northern Mindanao, at Davao region.


Maulap na kalangitan at pag-ulan bunsod naman ng northeast monsoon o “amihan” ang posibleng maranasan sa Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur at Catanduanes. 


Samantala, ang Metro Manila at Visayas at Luzon ay makararanas ng generally fair weather condition na may maulap na kalangitan ag isolated light rains dala ng northeast monsoon.

Nakataas na ang Signal #4 sa ilang lugar sa bansa habang patuloy na lumalakas ang Bagyong Odette, ayon sa PAGASA.


Maaari itong mag-landfall ngayong hapon sa Siargao-Bucas Grande Islands o sa Dinagat Islands.


"On the forecast track, Typhoon “Odette” will continue moving generally westward or west northwestward over the Philippine Sea and the center of its eye is forecast to make its initial landfall in the vicinity of Siargao-Bucas Grande Islands or Dinagat Islands between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. today," pahayag ng PAGASA.


Ayon naman sa US Navy and Air Force's Joint Typhoon Warning Center na nasa Hawaii, isang super typhoon na ang Bagyong Odette.
