Mga paraan para maagapan ang pambu-bully sa trabaho

Ang pambu-bully ang kadalasang rason kung bakit nawawalan tayo ng gana sa ating buhay. Puwede natin itong maranasan sa internet, paaralan at trabaho.

Minsan ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit madami ang nagpapasya na mag-resign, kahit na sabihin pang mahal nila ang kanilang trabaho.

Kaya mga besh, huwag kayong papayag na mangyari ito sa atin, partikular sa inyong workplace. Upang maiwasan o malabanan ang ganitong senaryo, narito ang mga paraan upang matigil ang pambu-bully sa loob ng trabaho:

1.     CONFRONT YOUR COLLEAGUE. Bago ka gumawa ng mga hakbang, komprontahin mo muna ang sinumang nambu-bully sa iyo. Mabuting ipaalam mo sa kanya na nakakaapekto ito sa iyo. Puwedeng isipin ng katrabaho mo na nagpapatawa lamang siya pero, hindi niya napapansin na nagiging unprofessional na siya. Kung ire-report mo ang pambu-bully sa supervisor mo, make sure na sinubukan mo siyang kausapin tungkol dito.

2.     KEEP CAREFUL RECORDS. Bago ka magsampa ng reklamo, make sure na na-document mo ang lahat ng insidente ng pambu-bully sa iyo. Kabilang na rito ang araw at oras ng bawat insidente, gayundin, kung may witness dito. Make sure na mayroon kang kopya ng written o digital correspondence na mayroon ka kasama ang iyong katrabaho.

3.     REPORT INCIDENTS. Sa mga kumpanya rito sa atin, karaniwang inaayos ang ganitong sitwasyon sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag-usap sa direct supervisor bago sa senior management o HR office.

4.     FILE A COMPLAINT. Kung ang bully ay ang supervisor mo, mabuting magtanong sa HR representative upang malaman kung paano maaayos ang sitwasyon. Make sure na may hawak kang dokumento o anumang magpapatunay na may nambu-bully sa iyo.

Kung desidido ka nang magsampa ng reklamo, magagamit mo ang mga dokumento bilang ebidensya. Gets?

5.     CONSULT AN ATTORNEY. Besh, kung hindi masosolusyunan sa loob ng kumpanya ang isyu kahit nagsampa ka ng kaso at nakipag-usap sa HR management, ang sunod na hakbang ay humingi ka ng legal advice. Para makasigurado, mabuting humanap ng abogado na nag-e-specialize sa employment law. Sa ganitong paraan, mas madali mong malalaman kung may discrimination laws na kailangan sa iyong sitwasyon.

Hindi masamang lumaban lalo na kung trabaho na natin ang naaapektuhan. Kung nabu-bully ka sa trabaho o kung may kakilala kayong nabu-bully, make sure na gagawin n’yo ang mga paraan na ito para lumaban, ha? Sa panahon ngayon, kapag nagpakita ka sa kanila ng kahinaan, mas lalo ka lang nilang pagtatawanan. Kaya mga Ka-BULGAR, ‘wag n’yong hayaan na maranasan n’yo ito. Oki?

PH efforts against HIV to be honored at QUILTS Awards 2024

Now on its third year, the QUILTS Awards continues to recognize Philippine organizations for their efforts to support and service those with HIV and AIDS. The ceremony is set to be held today, May 19, 2024, Sunday, at the San Jose Del Monte Convention Center, Bulacan.

Short for Quality Uptake and Improvements in Lifesaving Treatment Services, the QUILTS Awards aims to honor and empower the contributions and strides made by public and private health facilities towards ensuring that every person living with HIV gets their lifesaving antiretroviral drugs.

Some of the awards expected to be conferred cover excellence in bringing HIV services closer to younger populations, timely enrolling of newly diagnosed people living with HIV on their treatment, and the different strategies implemented by the facilities in ensuring that HIV treatment services are client centered. The winners are selected based on epidemiological data from the Department of Health. Special awards will also be given such as on excellence in utilizing one of the HIV serving booking appointment systems in the Philippines QuickRes.org.

First held in 2022, the QUILTS Awards is an innovation by the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) Project in the Philippines, led globally by the non-profit FHI 360 and funded by the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). QUILTS Awards takes inspiration from the AIDS Memorial Quilt, a global symbol of solidarity in the fight against HIV originating from San Francisco gay rights activist Cleve Jones.

The QUILTS Awards is a collaboration with the AIDS Society of the Philippines and UNAIDS Philippines.

The QUILTS Awards coincides with the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (IACM) commemoration, observed every third Sunday of May as a tribute to those who have lost their lives to HIV and AIDS. A candlelight ceremony is also expected to take place in solidarity and unity among communities affected by HIV, as well as a constant reminder that every person living with HIV can live a healthy and productive life.

Walang makapag-bash kay Barbie Forteza sa post niya patungkol sa anniversary nila ni Jak Roberto dahil limited lang ang puwedeng makapag-comment sa comment box ng Instagram niya. Ginaya rin ni Jak si Barbie, kaya iwas-bashing sila.

Simple ang selebrasyon ng dalawa sa kanilang 7th anniversary, sa isang Japanese resto sila nag-date at makikita sa mesa na ramen, gyoza at tempura ang kinain nila.

Naiba ito sa steak na laging kinakain ng dalawa kapag may special at important date sa kanila at sa kanilang relasyon.

Sabi ni Barbie, “Happy 7th anniversary, Mahal! @jakroberto. I can’t believe it’s already been that long cause you still make me laugh the same way as when we went out on our first ramen date. You never fail to treat me the way you promised my family you would. Lastly, you love and care for my family more than you should. You have raised the bar, my love. I’m so grateful for you. Mahal na mahal kita.”

Nai-imagine namin ang mga comments na dapat hindi showy si Barbie sa relasyon nila ni Jak dahil malapit na ang airing ng Pulang Araw na sila ni David Licauco ang magkapareha. 

May movie rin sila, ang That Kind of Love, baka raw ma-turn-off ang mga fans nina Barbie at David na hindi suportahan ang projects nila.

Sus, hayaan nating i-celebrate nina Barbie at Jak ang anniversary nila, siguro naman, magse-celebrate rin sina David at girlfriend nito kapag sila naman ang nag-anniversary.
