Nag-updateang manager ni Iza Calzado na si Noel Ferrer sa medical status ng aktres na naka-confine sa isang hospital.
Aniya, “Dear family and friends. Iza Calzado received her results yesterday that she tested positive for COVID-19.
"She is recovering well as she was aggressively treated for pneumonia and the virus. She can actually breathe now without any oxygen assistance.
"She will be tested again to see if she is already negative. Her husband Ben and others who interacted with her have not shown any symptoms.
"She doesn’t know where she contracted the virus from, but it’s best for all of us to take seriously the advice of doctors and health authorities on proper hygiene, physical distancing, quarantine and social responsibility.
"Thank you to the frontliners who continue to risk their lives to attend to our kababayans like Iza.
"Let us continue to pray for the healing of Iza and our brothers and sisters who are most affected by this pandemic. God bless us all! #PrayingForIza #LabanIza.”

Sabi ni Herbert, “The group together with other civilian volunteers tirelessly working nonstop to make sure all security details are taken care of and that our limited resources and manpower are maximized in order to protect thousands of others under quarantine in our city. MAGANDA ang sagot ni Prima Donnas Director Gina Alajar sa tanong kung ano'ng pag-iingat ang ginagawa niya sa panahon ng pandemic COVID-19.
Aniya, “Halos lahat ng dapat gawin, we try to do it sa bahay. Maghugas ng kamay, mag-sanitize, magsuot ng mask, social distancing, staying home. Bago pumasok ng bahay, kailangang mag-sanitize muna. Even our househelpers are doing it.”
Paano niya ginagawang productive ang sarili habang nasa bahay lang?
Sagot niya, “My time is divided to reading the Bible, praying, listening to praise and worship, watching tv, watching the view from my room, colouring and sleeping.”
Ano ang mensahe niya sa mga frontliners?
“I salute them! We all know the risk on their health and well being. But, nananaig sa kanila na ang trabaho nila ay para bumuhay ng tao at 'yun ang laman ng puso nila, 'to serve.' Itinataya nila ang buhay nila para maglingkod. Kaya I pray for them.”
Sa tanong kung ano ang una niyang gagawin ‘pag nawala na ang COVID-19, ang sagot ni Direk Gina, “Fall on my knees and thank and praise and worship God.”
Na-congratulate rin si Direk Gina sa success ng Prima Donnas na kahit marami ang nagagalit sa kanya, sa mga writers at sa cast, patuloy na sinusubaybayan at marami sa mga viewers ang nagsasabing nakaka-relate sila sa istorya ng mga karakter.
“Masaya is an understatement. I have to admit na napakasaya ko dahil sa success ng show. Never did I imagine na ganu'n kalakas ang impact sa mga tao to the extent na nagagalit sila sa akin because the story is not turning out the way they want it to be.”
Nabanggit ni Direk Gina na maganda ang working relationship ng lahat. Tingin din niya ay may mga nabuong friendships. Pinansin din nito ang batang cast at nakikita niyang malaki ang improvement sa acting nina Jillian Ward, Althea Ablan, Sofia Pablo at Elijah Alejo at naiintindihan nila ang kanilang roles.
Sa tanong kung humihingi ba ng tips ang mga bata kung paano i-execute ang eksena, sagot ni Direk Gina, noong nag-uumpisa pa lang sila, isa-isa raw ang instructions niya sa mga bata. Pati tono ng pagsasalita, itinuturo niya.
“Tono ng pagsasalita, nuances, pati level ng pag-iyak, lahat ‘yun, itinuro ko. Pero ngayon, marunong na sila. They became the character na... kaya hinahayaan ko na sila kung paano nila ia-attack ang scene... when they are not sure, du’n lang sila magtatanong."
Ano ang ipagmamalaki niya sa Prima Donnas?
“I am proud na minahal ng audience ang mga bata (Jillian, Althea and Sofia)... esp si Mayi (Jillian) at nasaktan sila for Mayi, umiyak sila for her, naawa sila kay Mayi na hindi pala Claveria. Ngayon naman, nag-e-evolve na si Ella (Althea), matapang na siya at handang ipaglaban ang karapatan niya.
Si Lenlen (Sofia) naman ay gusto mong protektahan kasi she is so fragile,” pagtatapos ni Direk Gina.
