Hello, Bulgarians! Kamakailan ay inanunsiyo ng Social Security System (SSS) na tuluy-tuloy pa rin ang pakikipagtulungan nito sa Etiqa Life and General Assurance Philippines, Inc. (Etiqa) sa katatapos lamang na ceremonial signing ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) noong March 5, 2020 sa SSS Building, Diliman, Quezon City.
Ang Etiqa o AsianLife & General Assurance Corporation ang naging credit insurance partner ng SSS mula nang ilunsad ang Pension Loan Program (PLP) noong September, 2018. Layunin ng PLP na bigyan ng tulong-pinansiyal ang mga SSS retiree-pensioners para sa kanilang miscellaneous expenses. Mula sa naturang guidelines, ang mga SSS pension loan borrowers ay covered ng Group Credit Life Insurance. Kasama rito ang full amount ng loan sa biglaang pagkamatay ng pension-borrower. Ibig sabihin, ang outstanding balance ng loan ay mababayaran na kahit ilang buwan pa ang naaprubahan na pension loan. Mula October, 2019, ang mga retiree-pensioners ay maaaring mag-avail ng maximum amount of P200,000 na maaaring bayaran ng dalawang taon o 24 monthly installments.
