Chopper ng PAF, sumabog sa Tarlac, lahat ng sakay, patay

Nag-crash ang Black Hawk military helicopter ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) sa isinagawang night flight training sa Tarlac noong Miyerkules.

Saad ni PAF Spokesperson Lt. Col. Maynard Mariano, "Last night, June 23, 2021, an S-70i Black Hawk Utility helicopter of the 205th Tactical Helicopter Wing on a night flight training figured in a mishap a few miles from Colonel Ernesto Rabina Air Base in Capas, Tarlac.”

Ayon kay Mariano, nilisan ng helicopter ang Clark Air Base bandang alas-8 nang gabi para sa naturang flight training.

Nabahala umano ang iba pang PAF personnel nang mawalan ng contact sa helicopter at sa mga crew bandang alas-10 nang gabi.

Saad pa ni Mariano ngayong Huwebes, "As of this writing, PAF search, retrieval, and recovery teams are diligently at work.”

Aniya pa, “So far, no survivors have been found. The identities of the aircrew members will be provided as soon as the members of their families are properly notified.”

Saad pa ng PAF, “We grieve for the loss. The PAF will conduct a thorough inquiry to determine the circumstances of this unfortunate incident.”

Patuloy na nagsasagawa ng search, retrieval and recovery operations ang awtoridad at dahil sa insidente, hindi muna umano gagamitin ang iba pang Black Hawk combat helicopters.

Saad pa ng PAF, "For the meantime, all the other Black Hawks will not be flown until the conclusion of the investigation.”

P4.6 M halaga ng marijuana, nasamsam, 3 timbog

Arestado ang tatlong drug personalities matapos na makumpiska sa mga ito ang nasa P4.6 milyong halaga ng hinihinalang marijuana ng mga tauhan ng PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) sa isinagawang anti-illegal drug operation sa Tarlac City ngayong Linggo nang madaling-araw.

Kinilala ni PNP Chief Gen. Debold Sinas ang tatlong inarestong suspek na sina Cornelio Chumil-ang, 33; Jomar Pallar, 24; at Marcelino Caraowa, 40, pawang mga residente ng Mountain Province. Ayon kay Sinas, bukod sa Tarlac ay nagdi-distribute rin ng ilegal na droga ang mga suspek sa Pangasinan at Mountain Province.

“Upon further investigation, the suspects were found out to be members of the same group arrested in Tarlac last February. The said group operates illegal drug activities sa area ng Tarlac, Pangasinan at Mountain Province,” ani Sinas.

Nakuha sa mga suspek ang nasa 24 na piraso na bricks ng marijuana, 26 rolled dried marijuana leaves na P4.6 million ang halaga at 2 bote ng hinihinalang cannabis oil na nagkakahalaga ng P30,000, P68,000 boodle money, cellphones na ginamit sa transaksiyon at isang van at mini-dump truck na ginagamit sa pagbabagsak ng marijuana.

Dinala na sa Camp Gen. Francisco S. Macabulos sa Tarlac City ang mga suspek habang mahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

P18.96 M marijuana nasabat sa Tarlac, 6 arestado

Nasabat ang 158 kilograms ng hinihinalang marijuana na tinatayang aabot sa halagang P18.96 million sa isinagawang buy bust operation sa Concepcion, Tarlac ngayong Huwebes.

Ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP), sa tulong ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Tarlac, nagsagawa ng operasyon laban sa dalawang suspek na nagbenta ng hinihinalang marijuana na nagkakahalagang P3 million sa nagpanggap na buyer.

Sa naganap na pakikipagtransaksiyon, naaresto ang apat pang suspek. Pahayag ni PNP Chief Police General Debold Sinas, "Further investigation revealed that these suspects are actively engaged in the illegal drug trade activities, specifically marijuana within Region 1 and 3.

"Recent accomplishments against drug syndicates manifest the responsiveness of PNP units to the national government’s campaign against illegal drugs and criminality.”

Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Marlon Miranda, 34; Joey Palaeyan, 33; Freddie Letta, 35; Carl Andrei Maico, 22; Via Jean Ortiga; at Lorraine Fulgencio, 23. Nasa kustodiya na ng PNP Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ang mga suspek.
