Sa pamamahala sa ‘Pinas.. P-Du30, napiga nang husto — Go

“Piniga siya.” Ito ang naging pahayag ng longtime aide ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na si Senador Bong Go patungkol sa kanya ngayong Biyernes.

Sinabi ni Go na ang pamamahala at pamumuno sa bansa ay nagdulot sa Punong Ehekutibo na mapiga nang husto o ma-“drained” dahil na rin sa mga problema at isyung kinakaharap nito.

Subalit ayon kay Go, nananatili ang 77-anyos na si Pangulong Duterte na walang pinagsisisihan sa kanyang pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa taumbayan.

“During his presidency, talagang piniga siya. Ibig sabihin, mentally, physically and health-wise, talagang piniga,” saad ni Go sa mga reporters.

“Kapag isa kang Pangulo, talagang pipigain ka talaga. It’s a thankless job pero no regret po si Pangulo dahil ito na ang huling chapter ng kanyang buhay, ibinuhos na niya sa Pilipino,” dagdag ng senador.

Sa kabila ng mga pahayag, tiniyak naman ni Go sa publiko na si Pangulong Duterte ay fit pa rin para sa kanyang edad, habang nagbigay ng mga reports na ang Pangulo ay bumisita kamakailan lamang sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center.

Binanggit din ni Go na si Pangulong Duterte ay regular na bumibisita sa nasabing ospital para sa kanyang routine checkups.

“Physically [fit] to finish his term? Oo, kaya pa and beyond. Oo, in good condition. Kaya nga sabi ko papasalamat tayo sa Cardinal Santos at kay doktora din po for taking care of his health,” sabi ni Go na hindi na idinetalye ang health condition ng Pangulo.

Ilang beses na ring inianunsiyo ng Malacañang na nananatiling mabuti ang kalusugan ng Pangulo.

Samantala, ang termino ni Pangulo Duterte ay magtatapos sa Hunyo 30, 2022.

6 kumpanya, binigyan ng 25-year franchise extension ni P-Du30

Nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga measures kaugnay ng pagbibigay ng 25-year franchise extension sa anim na kumpanya, batay sa ipinakitang dokumento na nai-share ng Malacañang.

Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga sumusunod na batas:

• Republic Act No. 11664 renewing for another 25 years the franchise granted to Franciscan Broadcasting Corporation.

• Republic Act No. 11665 renewing for another 25 years the franchise granted to Iriga Telephone Company, Inc.

• Republic Act No. 11666 renewing for another 25 years the franchise granted to Soundstream Broadcasting Corporation.

• Republic Act No. 11667 renewing for another 25 years the franchise granted to Nation Broadcasting Corporation of the Philippines.

• Republic Act No. 11668 renewing for another 25 years the franchise granted to GV Broadcasting System, Inc. or Cignal TV

• Republic Act No. 11669 renewing for another 25 years the franchise granted to Enrique M. Orozco and Sons, Inc. or Real Radio Network, Inc.

Bukod dito, binigyan din ng Pangulo ng franchise ang University of Southern Mindanao upang i-maintain at i-operate ang radio broadcasting stations para magamit na pang-edukasyon at katulad nito sa Cotabato province.

10-point agenda para sa economic recovery, i-adopt na — P-Du30

Iniutos na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pag-adopt ng isang 10-point agenda na layong isustina at pabilisin ang economic recovery ng bansa mula sa pandemya ng COVID-19 sa pamamagitan ng isang tinatawag na whole-of-government approach.

Sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 166, na pinirmahan noong Marso 21, ang Ten-Point Agenda on Economic Recovery ay ang mga sumusunod:

• Strengthen healthcare capacity

• Accelerate and expand the vaccination program

• The further reopening of the economy and expand public transport capacity

• Resume face-to-face learning

• Reduce restrictions on domestic travel and standardize LGU requirements

• Relax requirements for international travel

• Accelerate digital transformation through legislative measures

• Provide for enhanced and flexible emergency measures through legislation

• Shift the focus of decision-making and government reporting to more useful empowering metrics

• Medium-term preparation for pandemic resilience

“The State hereby adopts the Ten-Point Policy Agenda to sustain and accelerate economic recovery, and to drive broad-based expansions across various productive sectors, in the midst of challenges brought about by the continued persistence of COVID-19,” ayon sa nakasaad sa EO.

Ang Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) at ang National Task Force Against COVID-19 ang inatasan ni Pangulong Duterte para tiyakin ang wastong pagpapatupad ng 10-point agenda na may konsultasyon mula sa economic cluster ng gobyerno.

Ang National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) naman ang magmo-monitor ng mga pagsunod ng concerned agencies habang ire-report ito periodically sa pangulo.

Batay sa datos ng NEDA, nakapaloob sa EO, “the height of the pandemic in 2020, 10.1% of businesses temporarily closed while 0.4% permanently ceased operations, causing unemployment to swell to around 8.7 million.”

“The COVID-19 pandemic has impeded the country's three decades of uninterrupted growthy, contracting its gross domestic product by as much as -9.6% in 2020,” batay pa sa EO.

Ayon sa Department of Health (DOH) nitong Martes, lahat ng rehiyon sa bansa ay nasa “minimal risk” base sa COVID-19 case classification habang ang bilang ng tinamaan ng impeksyon ay patuloy na bumababa. Ang ibig sabihin ng minimal risk ay ang lowest risk case classification sa COVID-19.
