City of Malolos — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 1,000 Charitimba (food buckets) to residents of Malolos, Bulacan on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.


PCSO Board Member Jennifer Guevara and PCSO Bulacan Branch Assistant Manager Elmer Camba led the distribution efforts in partnership with Malolos City Councilor John Vincent Vitug III. 



Councilor Vitug expressed his gratitude on behalf of the city government, stating, “Kaming mga bumubuo ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Malolos, sa pamumuno ni Mayor Atty. Christian Natividad at Vice Mayor Miguel Alberto Bautista, ay lubos na nagpapasasalamat sa PCSO sa naging handog na isang libong Charitimba sa aming mga residente. Gayundin sa ating mahal na Pangulong Bongbong Marcos Jr., dahil sa layunin niyang maihatid sa ating mga kababayan ang serbisyong may malasakit at pagmamahal sa bayan."  



Aside from the food buckets, the PCSO also provided educational grants to 20 college students in the city.  


This initiative is part of the PCSO's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to extend assistance to various sectors of society, promoting inclusive development and gender-responsive public service.

Mandaluyong City – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has provided a total of P2.3 million in financial assistance to three non-government institutions dedicated to caring for abandoned, neglected, and surrendered children. The ceremonial turnover was held on February 24, 2025 at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.  


PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles personally handed over the donation checks, each amounting to P1,000,000.00, to Sr. Martha Gamolo, Administrator of Hospicio de San Jose, Inc., and Mely Reluya, Center Administrator of White Cross, Inc. Meanwhile, Melanie Alog, Executive Director of Alay Pag-Asa Christian Foundation, Inc., received P300,000.00 in financial aid.  



These institutions provide shelter, care, and support to vulnerable children which focus on their development and family empowerment to help improve their overall quality of life. The donations will help sustain and enhance their programs, including healthcare, feeding programs, and other essential services for their beneficiaries.  


This initiative is part of PCSO’s Institutional Partnership Program (IPP), which aims to extend financial support to various welfare agencies and charitable medical facilities.

Cebuano claims ₱109-M SuperLotto 6/49 jackpot

Mandaluyong City. – February 27, 2025 – A Cebuano resident has claimed the ₱109,545,674.80 jackpot prize from the MegaLotto 6/49 drawn on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The winning numbers are 40-34-32-26-21-12. 


The fortunate winner, a dedicated lottery player for 41 years, spanning both traditional sweepstakes and lotto games, purchased his winning ticket in advance on Saturday February 22nd, at a lotto outlet in Cebu City.


He remained unaware of his win until Tuesday, February 25, when he attempted to replay the same numbers. A lotto teller informed him that the numbers had already been declared the winning combination. He and his wife then hurriedly checked the tickets he purchased in advance, confirming his win. He plans to invest his newfound wealth in expanding their existing family contracting business, ensuring a secure future for his loved ones.



Claiming the jackpot requires the winner to present their original, signed ticket and two valid government-issued IDs.  As per the TRAIN Law, a 20% tax is deducted from prizes exceeding ₱10,000. Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prizes. Unclaimed winnings will be forfeited and added to the PCSO Charity Fund, supporting various charitable programs.  


Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM and is broadcast live on IBC TV 13 and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over 500 ChariTimba or food packs to the municipality of Paluan, Occidental Mindoro in a ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City on Monday, Feb. 17, 2025.


PCSO Director Jennifer Guevara personally handed over the donation to Paluan Mayor Abelardo Pangilinan, ensuring that the assistance reaches those in need.



Paluan, a 4th-class municipality, relies primarily on agriculture, aquaculture, and livestock raising as sources of livelihood. Expressing his gratitude, Mayor Pangiinan stated “These food packs will be distributed to the marginalized in our area. This assistance will help families allocate their limited budget for other essential needs aside from food.”


This initiative is part of the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aimed at supporting the marginalized sector and improving their quality of life.


PCSO Supports PHILRACOM Stake Races

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and the Philippine Racing Commission (Philracom) renewed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement signed in

a ceremony at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City on Friday, Feb. 21,2025.


PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles confirmed the PCSO's continued support for the horse racing industry by providing prizes and trophies for selected races organized by PCSO and Philracom for Calendar Year 2025. He also expressed hope that this would benefit more Filipinos.


Philracom Chairman Aurelio P. De Leon thanked PCSO and emphasized the importance of collaboration in promoting horse racing as a vital part of the country's sports and entertainment industry.

With the shared vision of promoting Horse Racing Sports Tourism and PCSO’s gaming products, the MOA demonstrates the determination of both agencies to work together to promote horse racing tourism and PCSO games trough a joint advertising campaign and publicity promotion.


This agreement reinforces the longstanding partnership between PCSO and Philracom in supporting the continuous growth of horse racing in the Philippines.
