Saad pa ng Meralco, “With the government’s announcement of MECQ in NCR, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Lucena City, and Rizal until August 31, 2021, we are suspending disconnection activities in these areas as we prioritize your safety.”

“Given the current situation, we continue to take into consideration the challenges our customers are facing amid these difficult times,” ani Ferdinand Geluz, first vice-president at chief commercial officer ng Meralco sa isang statement ngayong Martes. “Thus, we will again suspend all disconnection activities in NCR and Laguna to help ease the burden of our customers with the needed relief and additional time to settle their bills,” sabi pa ni Geluz.

“Meralco business operations, including meter reading and bill delivery activities, will continue throughout the ECQ. Our continued operations will ensure that actual consumption for the month will be billed accordingly,” saad ni Geluz.

“But rest assured there will be strict implementation of health protocols in order to safeguard the health and safety of both customers and our personnel,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.

Pahayag ni Meralco Chief Commercial Officer Ferdinand Geluz, “Cognizant of the plight of our customers amid these challenging times brought about by the pandemic and in support of the government’s effort to manage the transmission of Covid-19, we commit to put on hold all disconnection activities until April 15 2021.

“We hope this measure will contribute to easing the burden of our customers and provide enough relief and time for them to settle their bills.”

Saad pa ni Geluz, “Meralco business operations, including meter reading activities, will continue despite stricter quarantine measures. “Rest assured there will be strict implementation of health protocols in order to safeguard the health and safety of both customers and our personnel. This will ensure that actual consumption for the month will be billed accordingly. “Meralco crew will also continue to be on standby 24/7 to respond to any emergencies and reports.”
