Kinondena ni President-elect Joe Biden ang naganap na gulo sa isinagawang kilos-protesta ng daan-daang supporters ni US ex-President Donald Trump sa US Capitol nu'ng Miyerkules.

Pahayag ni Biden, “Yesterday, in my view, was one of the darkest days in the history of our nation.

“They weren’t protesters. They were a riotous mob, insurrectionists, domestic terrorists.”

“I wish we could say we couldn’t see it coming but that isn’t true. We could see it coming.

“The past four years, we’ve had a president who made his contempt for our democracy, our Constitution, the rule of law clear in everything he has done.”

Aniya, “This is an emergency of the highest magnitude.

“By inciting sedition, as he did yesterday, he must be removed from office.

“While it’s only 13 days left, any day can be a horror show for America.

“If the vice-president and the cabinet do not act, the Congress may be prepared to move forward with impeachment.”

Ayon kay Vice-President Mike Pence, “This shall be deemed a sufficient declaration of the persons elected president and vice-president of the United States."

They are truly on the side of our country. Stay peaceful!"

Muli namang nag-post si Trump sa Twitter dahil sa insidente at aniya, "I am asking for everyone at the US capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! "Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order — respect the law and our great men and women in blue."

Aniya, "President Trump and many members of Congress bear significant responsibility for what's now taking place. The democratic process of electing a president must be respected."

Aniya, "Trump and his supporters must accept the decision of American voters at last and stop trampling on democracy."

Saad naman ni Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, "I am following with concern the news that are coming from Capitol Hill in Washington. I trust in the strength of America's democracy. "The new presidency of @JoeBiden will overcome this time of tension, uniting the American people."

Maging si Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ay nabahala rin sa insidente at aniya, "Obviously, we're concerned and we're following the situation minute by minute. "I think the American democratic institutions are strong, and hopefully everything will return to normal shortly."
