Dumating na sa bansa ang 362,700 doses ng Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine noong Miyerkules.


Lumapag sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 ang Air Hongkong flight LD456 lulan ang mga naturang bakuna.


Ayon sa National Task Force Against COVID-19, ang 50,310 doses ng Pfizer ay dumating sa Cebu City bandang alas-5 nang hapon at 50,310 doses din ang nakatakdang dalhin sa Davao City ngayong Huwebes.


Ang iba pang Pfizer vaccines ay dinala naman sa PharmaServ Express cold-chain storage facility sa Marikina City, ayon sa NTF.


Ayon naman kay Assistant Secretary Wilben Mayor, head ng National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF) sub-task force, ang mga bakuna ay dadalhin sa mga lugar na nakakapagtala ng pagtaas ng kaso ng Coronavirus.


Aniya pa, "Though meron na tayo ngayong tinatawag na from the spot, nagkakaroon agad ng inoculation. Dinadala na agad doon sa area and pagdating doon, ini-inject na kaagad.


"But, again, we leave it to the Vaccine Cluster to decide on whether to which particular area that they will distribute or allocate this Pfizer vaccine."

Nagpositibo si Davao City Vice-Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte sa COVID-19, ayon sa kanyang kapatid na si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.


“Sa ngayon, via video call muna ang family kumustahan nang malaman naming positive sa COVID-19 si Vice-Mayor Baste. Get well soon, Vice! Smile,” ani Mayor Sara.


Batay sa kanyang post sa Facebook, nagsagawa ng video conference si Sara kasama ang amang si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, inang si Elizabeth Zimmerman, at mga kapatid na sina Davao City First District Representative Paolo Duterte at Davao City VM Sebastian Duterte.


Tiniyak naman ni Mayor Sara sa mga residente ng Davao City na patuloy ang serbisyo ng lokal na pamahalaan na katuwang pa rin ang kapatid na si VM Baste.

Bumuhos ang pakikiramay at pakikidalamhati ng mga opisyal ng bansa sa pagpanaw ni dating Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III sa edad na 61 ngayong Huwebes.


Una nang naglabas ng pakikidalamhati si Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen at aniya, "It is with profound sadness that I learned this morning of the passing of former President Benigno S. Aquino III. I knew him to be a kind man, driven by his passion to serve our people, diligent in his duties, and with an avid and consuming curiosity about new knowledge and the world in general.


“I saw him carry his title with dignity and integrity. It was an honor to have served with him. He will be missed.”


Pahayag naman ni Vice-President Leni Robredo, “Nakakadurog ng puso ang balitang wala na si P-Noy. Mabuti siyang kaibigan at tapat na pangulo.


“He tried to do what was right, even when it was not popular. Tahimik at walang pagod siyang nagtrabaho para makatulong sa marami. He will be missed.


“Nakikiramay ako sa kanyang pamilya.”
