Dine-in resto, tourist spots at outdoor sports, oks na sa NCR Plus at iba pang lugar

Inilabas na ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang mga bagong guidelines na ipatutupad sa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) ‘with heightened restrictions’ sa NCR Plus Bubble at iba pang lugar simula May 15 hanggang 31, ayon sa inianunsiyo ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque kagabi.

Kabilang sa pinahihintulutan ay ang mga sumusunod:

• 20% capacity sa mga indoor dine-in services at 50% capacity sa outdoor o al fresco dining

• 30% capacity sa mga outdoor tourist attraction

• 30% capacity sa mga personal care services, katulad ng salon, parlor at beauty clinic

• 10% capacity sa mga libing at religious gathering

• Pinapayagan na rin ang outdoor sports, maliban sa may physical contact na kompetisyon

Mananatili pa rin namang bawal ang mga sumusunod:

• entertainment venues katulad ng bars, concert halls, theaters

• recreational venues, katulad ng internet cafes, billiard halls, arcades

• amusement parks, fairs, playgrounds, kiddie rides

• indoor sports courts

• indoor tourist attractions

• venues ng meeting, conference, exhibitions

Higit sa lahat, bawal magtanggal ng face mask at face shield kapag nasa pampublikong lugar. Bawal ding lumabas ang mga menor-de-edad at 65-anyos pataas, lalo na kung hindi authorized person outside residency (APOR).

Patuloy pa ring inoobserbahan ang social distancing sa kahit saang lugar at ang limited capacity sa mga pampublikong transportasyon.

Maliban sa Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, at Laguna ay isasailalim din sa GCQ ang Apayao, Baguio City, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Abra, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Batangas, Quezon, Puerto Princesa, Iligan City, Davao City, at Lanao del Sur hanggang sa katapusan ng Mayo.

Mananatili naman sa modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ang Santiago City, Quirino, Ifugao, at Zamboanga City.

Baguio City Mayor Magalong, positibo sa COVID 19

Positibo sa COVID-19 ang Baguio City mayor at contact tracing czar na si Benjamin Magalong, ayon sa kanyang Facebook post noong Sabado.

Saad ni Magalong, “It is with a sad note that I would like to inform everyone that as of my RT-PCR test conducted yesterday morning (April 2, 2021), to which my results came out at 4:30pm of the same day, I was tested positive of the Covid-19 virus.” Aniya ay nagsasagawa na rin ng contact tracing para sa mga nakahalubilo niya.

Pahayag pa ni Magalong, “Contact tracing efforts are underway for those whom I have come into close contact with. I also strongly advise everybody to observe the minimum health standards.”

Dagdag pa ni Magalong, “Indeed, this news came out as a devastating blow for me and my family. The seriousness of this pandemic is something that we should not take for granted. It is a difficult situation and I don’t want anyone of you to be in this condition as it is emotionally, psychologically and financially difficult for our loved ones to bear.

“However, despite the predicament I am in, please be rest assured that we are still monitoring closely the City’s situation and coordinating to the proper authorities the necessary things to be done.”

Samantala, nanawagan din si Magalong sa publiko na sumunod sa mga ipinatutupad na health protocols ngayong panahon ng pandemya.

Benguet Mayor Aquisan pumanaw na, nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Pumanaw na si Kabayan, Benguet Mayor Faustino Aquisan dahil sa cardiac arrest sa edad na 61 nitong Linggo nang umaga.

Ayon sa kaanak ng alkalde, isinugod siya sa isang ospital sa Baguio City noong Sabado nang gabi at namatay kinabukasan.

"Actually, he was strong.

We came from Kabayan on Friday, and then biglang noong Saturday, 'yun na. He was attended kaagad naman. All the necessary things to do where undertaken," ayon sa kapatid ng mayor na si Virginia Sagpatan.

Isinailalim ang alkalde sa test sa COVID-19 at lumabas na positibo ito sa virus.

Agad namang isinailalim sa cremation ang kanyang labi at dinala sa Kabayan.

Nagsagawa na ng contact tracing upang alamin ang mga nakasalamuha ng pumanaw na mayor.

Nagsilbi si Aquisan bilang alkalde ng nasabing bayan sa loob ng tatlong termino.
