Rest in Peace, Tsutomu Shibayama


Pumanaw na sa edad na 84 ang longtime director ng animated series na "Doraemon" na si Tsutomu Shibayama.


Sa isang pahayag sa opisyal na website nito, kinumpirma ng animation studio na Ajia-do ang pagpanaw ni Shibayama, na sinasabing namatay siya noong Marso 6 dahil sa lung cancer.


“He served as chief director for the TV series ‘Doraemon,’ and has worked as director and general director on numerous other works, including ‘Nintama Rantaro,’ ‘Chibi Maruko-chan,’ and ‘Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori,’” nakasaad sa pahayag.


Dagdag nito, “All of us at the company express our heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and warm support you extended to us during your lifetime.”

Nagbigay ng tribute ang ‘Home Alone’ actor na si Macaulay Culkin sa yumaong aktres na si Catherine O’Hara.


Inanunsyo ang pagpanaw ni O’Hara sa edad na 71.


“Mama. I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you. But I had so much more to say. l love you. I'll see you later,” mensahe nito sa kapwa Home Alone star.

Inanunsyo ng streaming platform sa Netflix na nakatakda nitong bilhin ang television and film studios at streaming division ng Warner Bros. Discovery sa halagang $72 billion.


Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng streaming platform na nagkaroon ng kasunduan na ia-acquire ng Netflix ang Warner Bros., kabilang ang mga studio nito sa pelikula at telebisyon, HBO Max at HBO.
