DTI: Wala pang taas-presyo sa bilihin

Tiniyak ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na wala pang pagtaas sa presyo ng basic necessities at prime commodities sa kabila ng inaasahang malaking pagtaas sa presyo ng langis sa susunod na linggo dahil sa tumitinding tensyon sa pagitan ng Estados Unidos at Iran.

Ayon kay Trade Secretary Cristina Roque, wala pang manufacturer na naghahain ng petisyon para sa price increase.

“For the increase, wala pa namang humihingi ng price increase sa atin. So for now there's still no price increase.”

“Wala pang nag-apply,” dagdag niya.

Binigyang-diin din ni Roque na mas mabuting hintayin muna ang magiging epekto ng sitwasyon bago magbigay ng anumang pagtataya.

“It's really best for us to just wait first,” aniya.
