Hello Bulgarians! Nilagdaan ng Social Security System (SSS) ang isang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) kasama ang Department of Health (DOH) Caraga Region upang matiyak ang social security protection ng 200 Job Order (JO) at Contract of Service (COS) na manggagawa ng huli. 


Sa ilalim ng SSS KaSSSangga Collect Program, ang mga JO at COS na manggagawa ng DOH Caraga ay nakarehistro bilang mga self-employed na miyembro ng SSS. 


Samantala, ang DOH Caraga Region ang mamamahala sa pagkolekta at pag-remit ng kanilang Social Security (SS) at Employees’ Compensation (EC) kontribusyon sa SSS Butuan Branch sa pamamagitan ng automatic salary deduction scheme upang masiguro ang kanilang benepisyo at loan eligibility.


Sinabi ni SSS Acting Vice President for Mindanao North Division Benigno J. Dagani Jr., partikular na target ng KCP ang Job JO at COS na mga manggagawa mula sa local government units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs), State Colleges and Universities at iba pang organisadong grupo mula sa professional sector. 


Ipinaliwanag din ng opisyal na ang programa ay nagsisilbi rin sa mga regular na empleyado na dating nagtatrabaho sa pribadong sektor. 


Maaari nilang piliing i-activate muli ang kanilang membership sa SSS sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalit ng kanilang membership type mula sa employed to voluntary at magpatuloy sa pagbabayad ng kontribusyon sa pamamagitan ng salary deduction. 


Simula Marso 2025, ang SSS Butuan Branch ay may 36 participating partner sa ilalim ng KCP at pipirma ng kasunduan sa tatlong iba pang NGAs sa pagtatapos ng unang semestre ng 2025.

West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) recently signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the Maynilad Water Supervisors’ Association (MWSA), further strengthening the collaborative relationship between Management and the union representing more than 350 supervisory employees.

 

The signing ceremony was witnessed by officials from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB). Among those present were (front row, from left) Maynilad Customer Experience and Retail Operations Head Christopher J. Lichauco, Maynilad Human Resources Head Martin B. De Guzman, MWSA President Cynthia Fe C. Villamor, and MWSA Legal Counsel Atty. Emmanuel Jabla; and (back row, from left) NCMB Conciliator-Mediator Atty. Khristine Joy Mary Vergara, NCMB Director Edgar G. Aquino, and NCMB Conciliator-Mediator Estelita Bautista.

 

The newly signed agreement is the product of constructive dialogue between Management and the union, aimed at promoting the welfare of employees while supporting the company’s operational goals.

 

“This agreement reflects our shared commitment to uphold employee rights and maintain open, productive partnerships with our labor groups,” said Maynilad HR Head Martin De Guzman.

Mandaluyong City — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reaffirms its dedication to public service excellence by successfully obtaining its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) recertification on June 9, 2025. 


This recognition covers the agency’s key functions, including gaming operations, prize claims, and various support processes.


The recertification was officially presented at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City by Romeo Zamora, Managing Director of DQS Certification Philippines Inc. It was received by PCSO Chairperson Judge (Ret.) Felix Reyes, General Manager Melquiades Robles, Board Members Jennifer Guevara, Janet Mercado, and Imelda Papin, as well as Assistant General Managers Atty. Lauro Patiag, Arnel Casas, Julieta Aseo, and Atty. Lyssa Grace Pagano.


This marks the third consecutive ISO recertification for PCSO, highlighting the agency’s unwavering commitment to service excellence, operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and good governance—all for the benefit of the Filipino people.


“We are honored to receive this recertification, which affirms our commitment to uphold the highest standards across all facets of our operations,” said GM Robles.


“More than just a certification, this is a validation of the dedication, integrity, and hard work of every individual at PCSO.”


The ISO 9001:2015 standard is globally recognized and ensures that an organization’s quality management systems align with international best practices. 


For PCSO, this milestone strengthens its mission to provide reliable gaming services while ensuring that every peso bet is used to fund charitable programs nationwide.
