Ariana Grande, maglo-launch ng sariling cosmetics line

Nakatakdang i-launch ng multi-Grammy award-winning singer na si Ariana Grande ang sarili niyang cosmetics line ngayong Nobyembre.

Ito ay tatawaging R.E.M. Beauty at ayon sa website nito, mayroon itong slogan na “where your beauty dreams become reality.”

Ipimakita ni Ariana ang first look sa “Chapter 1 — Ultraviolet” products, na naglalaman ng eye products tulad ng kohl at liquid eyeliners, eye shadow palettes, lashes, at mascara.

Kabilang din sa nasabing collection ang “ten interstellar highlighter toppers,” collar matte lipstick, “practically permanent lip stain markers,” “collar plumping lip glosses” at “utmost importance plumping lip gloss.”

Ayon sa Glamour Magazine, puwede nang bumili ng R.E.M. Beauty “Chapter 1” sa November 12, at ito ay exclusively available lamang sa rembeauty.com.

Ayon pa report, ang cosmetics line ay ipinangalan sa “REM” (rapid eye movement), isang fan-favorite song mula sa 2018 album ni Ariana na “Sweetener.”

“I decided to name [my brand] REM because I feel like that song really encompasses a lot of my favorite parts of my sound, sonically,” ani Ariana.

Ang R.E.M. Beauty ay “heavily inspired” din sa hilig ni Ariana sa sci-fi, space, vintage, at horror.

“I wanted to create our own world with this packaging,” aniya.

“Sort of futuristic, but nostalgic throwback. Anything that looks like it could have been on Star Trek or Barbarella or Star Wars or Black Mirror.”

Sa kanyang Instagram account, nagpo-post din si Ariana ng updates tungkol sa kanyang venture.

Emmanuelle Vera, waging 3rd runner up sa Reina Hispanoamericana 2021

Nagwagi ang pambato ng Pilipinas na si Emmanuelle Vera na 3rd runner up sa Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 pageant na ginanap sa Bolivia ng Sabado (Linggo ng umaga sa Maynila). Si Miss Mexico Andrea Bazarte naman ang nag-uwi ng korona bilang Reina Hispanoamericana 2021.

Sa kanilang official Facebook page nai-broadcast ng live ang nasabing pageant. Inanunsiyo rin ng Miss World Philippines Organization (MWPO) sa kanilang Facebook page ang naturang report habang nag-share ng kanilang congratulatory message.

“Congratulations to our very own Emmanuelle Vera for placing as Tercera Finalista (3rd Runner-Up) in the Reina Hispanoamericana 2021!” caption ng MWPO.

“We are so proud of you! You represented our country very well. Thank you for raising the flag of the Filipinas. Mabuhay ka!” post pa ng Miss World Philippines.

Pinasalamatan din ng MWPO si Miss Dominican Republic na naging translator ni Vera sa Q&A segment.

Sa question and answer segment, tinanong si Vera, ‘what she would do with her life now after the pandemic has given many people a second chance.’

“I stand before you here today receiving my second chance. The pandemic rendered me jobless and hopeless. But through faith and perseverance, I rose again. But I realized that many Filipinos, countless Filipinos did not have the same opportunity as I did,” ani Vera.

“Throughout the pandemic, I had the privilege of volunteering, raising funds and serving the less fortunate in my country,” dagdag pa ng singer-beauty queen.

“I witnessed their situation and I realized that I will never be the same. Now, because of the pandemic, I choose to see people through the lens of empathy to give them kindness and to act in genuine selfless love, and to live a life that serves a purpose that is bigger than myself and is of service of my fellowmen.”

Matatandaang si Vera ang itinanghal bilang Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 sa ginanap na Miss World Philippines pageant noong Oktubre 3.

Noong Oktubre 16, ang Filipina beauty queen ay lumipad patungong Bolivia para mag-represent ng Pilipinas sa ikalawang Reina Hispanoamericana, kung saan nakoronahan si Teresita Marquez noong 2017.

Pambato ng Pilipinas sa Miss Intercontinental, kinoronahan

Wagi ang pambato ng PIlipinas na si Cinderella Obeñita bilang Miss Intercontinental 2021 sa pageant na ginanap sa Sharm El Sheik, Egypt.

“Second Miss Intercontinental crown for the Philippines," anunsiyo ng Binibining Pilipinas sa Facebook. "Congratulations to our Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obeñita! The whole country is proud of you!"

Ang 25-anyos na senior tourism officer mula sa Cagayan de Oro ay nanguna sa 70 kandidata.

Siya na ang pangalawang Pinay na nagwagi bilang Miss Intercontinental matapos na nakuha ni Karen Gallman noong 2018.

Matatandaang kinoronahan si Cindy bilang Binibining Pilipinas Miss Intercontinental noong Binibining Pilipinas coronation night noong Hulyo.
