Baler, Aurora | More than 1,500 residents from eight municipalities in Aurora province received freemedical and social services during the “LAB for All” caravan held on July 15, 2025, at the Sen. Edgardo J. Angara Convention Center.

Led by First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos, the initiative aims to strengthen community health and make government services more accessible through free medical consultations, laboratory tests, medicines, and wellness care.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), represented by Director Imelda Papin, actively participated in the event. Dir. Papin also serenaded attendees with her popular songs, adding a festive atmosphere to the caravan.

Under the supervision of PCSO OIC-Branch Head Marites Dela Cruz, the agency distributed 1,500 ChariTimba containing rice, noodles, and canned goods. Among the recipients was “Nanay Clarita,” who personally received her food pack from the First Lady and Dir. Papin.

PCSO also turned over a check to Aurora Governor Reynante Tolentino amounting to P244,738.59, representing the share of the province and its municipalities from lotto shares in Aurora.

In her message, the First Lady emphasized that “LAB for All” reflects the Marcos administration’s commitment to compassionate governance. “It is vital to bring medical services closer to the people. Affordable healthcare is key to inclusive leadership and improving the quality of life for every Filipino,” she said.

PCSO reaffirmed its continued support for the “LAB for All” initiative, which seeks to deliver inclusive and accessible healthcare services to communities across the country.

Quezon City – True to its mission of bringing aid closer to Filipino communities, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over 1000 Charitimba to the 1st District of Quezon City in a ceremony held on June 11, 2025 at the Brgy. Veterans Multi-Purpose Covered Court, Project 7, Quezon City.

The event was led by PCSO Board of Directors Jennifer Liongson Guevara and Imelda Papin, with Director Papin delighting the crowd by serenading attendees in a heartfelt performance that added a festive mood to the turnover. In her message, Director Guevara emphasized the agency’s unwavering commitment to public service:

“Sana tumatak sa inyo na ang aming ahensya ay hindi umuurong sa pagtulong. Sana din ay tangkilikin ninyo ang aming mga games. May pagkakataon na kayong manalo, nakatulong pa kayo sa pagpondo ng aming mga charity programs.”

Representing Quezon City Councilor Dorothy Delarmente, Tita Beth Delarmente formally received the Charitimba on behalf of the 1st District, joined by Chief of Staff Raquel Mallilin and several city councilors who graced the event.

Charitimba, a coined term combining “charity” and timba (the Filipino word for bucket), is PCSO’s initiative designed to deliver bucketfuls of compassion—typically in the form of food packs—to vulnerable sectors. It brings the agency’s services directly to those who need them most.

PCSO continues to urge the public to support its games, reminding everyone that every ticket played is a chance to win and a way to help, as game revenues fund essential health and welfare programs nationwide.
