After a decade of diligently playing lotto, a bettor from Pagsanjan, Laguna won the Grand Lotto 6/55 drawn last July 12, which carried a jackpot prize of 29.7 million pesos.
He shared that he goes to town daily to bet the same number combination, 19-32-25-12-17-36, which was finally drawn in the Grand Lotto 6/55.
The new millionaire, a farmer in Pagsanjan, said this is a ‘dream come true’ opportunity for his family. He shared that he plans on buying a house for each of his children.
The lucky bettor claimed his winnings at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, last on July 14, 2023.
As stated in the Republic Act 1169, winners have one (1) year from the date of the draw to claim their prizes. Otherwise, their winnings will be forfeited and added to PCSO Charity Fund.
The public is also reminded that prizes over Php 10,000.00 are subject to a 20% tax pursuant to TRAIN LAW. The PCSO assures that the information of lotto winners is kept confidential for their safety and security.
