Ini-reveal ng aktres na si Louise delos Reyes kahapon na dumaan siya sa matinding depression kasabay ng National Suicide Prevention Month.

Pahayag ni Louise, “To be honest, 'di rin ako ganu'n ka-vocal about it kasi sobrang taboo topic dito sa Pilipinas.

“There was a time in my life that I thought, kahit surrounded ako with friends... nangyari ito habang may trabaho ako, surrounded with friends at ngumingiti sa harap ng fans, nagkaroon ako ng inner struggle na I am not enough, I am not good enough, I will never be enough.

“And lahat ng iniisip ko nu'ng time na 'yun, how can I end this, because I was in so much pain.

“Na up to the point na 'yung sakit na 'yun, naging sobrang stagnant na 'yun na ang emotion ko.

"Hindi na ako nakakaramdam ng happiness. I don’t feel fulfilled sa lahat ng mga ginagawa ko.”

Pagpapatuloy ng aktres, “Palagi kong iniisip, paano kaya 'yung pinaka-worst na naisip ko noong time na 'yun, ano kaya ang naiisip ng mga tao na nagsu-suicide?

“Ano kaya ‘yung thoughts nila before jumping, before cutting their wrist, their own neck?

“How can I handle it because I want to learn. I want to know that idea para lang matapos na.”

Well, awa ng Diyos ay nalabanan ni Louise ang kanyang depression.

Aniya, “I am so thankful that even though I have those thoughts, parang meron pa ring glimmerin’ tunnel na, ‘Huy, dito ka, kasi 'di lang ikaw 'yung nakakaramdam ng ganyan. At meron pang mga tao na nagmamahal sa 'yo, who genuinely loves you and cares for you. If naggi-give up ka na sa sarili mo, please don’t give up on you.’”

Ibinulgar niya, “It has been a long battle and until now, nandu'n pa rin siya.

“But I think nasa better headspace na ako ngayon, with all the help and all the knowledge around that particular topic. It’s very uplifting also to know na may nagke-care na hindi ka nila nakikilala.”

Maraming lugar dito sa ‘Pinas na puno ng adventure, at kasiyahan na tiyak na ‘di n’yo malilimutan. Magmula sa mga beach, hanggang sa mga makasaysayang lugar na tiyak na magbibigay saya sa bawat miyembro ng pamilya. Gusto n’yo yorn? Ako rin, gusto ko nu’n! Char!
